Lately I’ve had a bad flare up of blepharitis (itching, burning crusty eyelids, discharge and eyelash loss). I usually use Vaseline to lubricate my eyelids but it’s so greasy it leaves hard to remove smudges on my glasses and repeated use can clog the pores which only exacerbates the condition. This oil is the perfect solution because it addresses all of the symptoms. The castor oil hydrates, reduces the swelling/puffiness and will help the eyelashes I’ve lost grow back in faster. Almond and jojoba oils hydrate and lubricate without the greasy residue that Vaseline leaves behind so my glasses stay clean. This also relives the itching and burning. It has a pump making it easy and hygienic to dispense. It doesn’t irritate or get in my eyes or make my vision blurry. I wish it came in larger size because I can see myself going through it pretty fast when I’m having a bad flare up and need to use it 3-4 times a day, but it’s much less expensive than the specialized products they sell for blepharitis like ointments and eyelid cleansers.

As a huge fan of castor oil for skin care, I LOVE that this is in a spray bottle and contains other natural ingredients that are beneficial for skin. I add Frankincense Essential Oil to all of my castor oil bottles for anti aging benefits. I apply all over my face before bed after hyaluronic acid and will wake up with incredibly smooth and hydrated skin. I also use under and around my eyes during the day with or without makeup!

I tried this Selfwise Castor-Jojoba oil for skin and I am rather impressed. This is my first experience using castor oil on my skin, but I know many people who do so I thought I would give it a try. I like that the bottle has a pump nozzle for dispensing this oil into my hands with no mess. I also poured some of this castor oil into my own small containers with applicator ones apply to my lashes and eyebrows. The only reason I removed one star is because I do have sensitive eyes, but this oil does irritate my eyes a bit when placed on my lashes. Not terribly, but enough so that I don’t want to chance it. I do however enjoy the feel of this on my face as it feels very hydrating. I also read another reviewer did not care for was sent, but I actually like it. It is very faint, but When the oil first comes from the bottle, I smell a fresh scent that does quickly dissipate and become centered after a minute or so. Overall, I can’t say that I have seen any hair growth in particular from this oil, but I enjoy the way it feels on my skin and it does not leave , my face sticky or tacky at all. I will definitely keep this in my beauty rotation.

My face felt very hydrating after using this face oil overnight. The blend of oils, with organic castor oil listed as the first ingredient, comes in a dark glass bottle with spray pump. It has other nourishing oils like jojoba, almond, squalene and other essential oils, and all good for skin. I like this face oil, too bad it’s only 2 oz! I apply this oil as my final step in my night time routine. It really locks in moisture. I wake up with nice, supple skin in the morning.

What a beautiful blend of oils! Comes in a glass bottle with a top that nicely squirts oil out. The oils in this blend themselves all have a purpose and all are very hydrating, supportive, and effective. The oil also has a very neutral faint castor oil smell which is nice. My face feels very soft and fresh after use and the oil is light and absorbs good. Excited to keep using this oil, so far so good!

This is my second bottle of castor oil from this brand, and I’m very happy with it. This one combines castor oil with jojoba oil (my previous bottle was blended with sweet almond oil).
