Before I order a supplement, I like a little information on the company. I can’t find a website or additional information about Naturevol.
There is no doubt that we should ingest more hard-to-source omega-3s and their product claims are ideal for a fish oil including mercury-free, wild-caught, quality-tested, preservative-free etc. but there doesn’t appear to be much available to back that up.
I have just begun to take these and I will report back after I have had more time with them.

When buying fish oil supplements, I’m looking for purity and potency. This one has both. It is sourced from wild-caught fish (sardines and anchovies), and is also third-party tested specifically for heavy metals including mercury, which is a concern for fish oil products. My doctor advised me that my fish oil supplement should have EPA and DHA content total 2,000 mg, and the EPA + DHA of this fish oil totals 2,100 mg per serving. It is, however, noteworthy that a serving size for this product is three softgels, compared to two softgels for many other products. This product is manufactured in the USA in a GMP certified facility. The product I received expires about 22 months after I received it.

The answer was USA, and yes to 3rd party tested !
I don’t like having to take 3 capsules a day though ,
that’s a bit much . The price is reasonable ( to me)
for the amount of servings/doses is in each bottle ( 80)
so almost 3 months worth .

I’m giving this 5 stars despite it being a little weird. It says “Triple Strength” but then you look at the serving size and it’s 3 capsules! Well of course its triple strength when you take 3 times the amount. I would honestly take maybe 2 of these capsules and using this as 120 servings. 3 feels like overkill.
Besides that, this seems like fairly standard fish oil capsules. I like the lemon flavor but I prefer these with no flavor.
The pills have a matte finish, probably from the lemon flavoring, unlike the glossy finish you see on most other capsules. It’s not a negative thing, but just something interesting to note.
MINFENG HU –
My doctor advised me to take Omega-3 fish oil daily. For the 1200mg one, I take 4 softgels a day. The fish oil I take daily for years is from a more established brand, but the softgels are average big and I always experience a fishy aftertaste. I decided to try this new brand due to the great deal of price. It contains 4200mg, so I think 1-2 softgels per day is fairly enough. Plus, the softgel size is smaller than the ones I usually take. What I like the most is that there’s no fishy aftertaste, and I don’t experience any burping after taking it. So far, I feel good about it and it’s a great value.

I know this says lemon flavored, but I was pleased to not notice any flavor at all! It definitely didn’t taste fishy, which is the primary concern. I am not really a fan of when they try and make different flavors for the fish oil pills, but was willing to give it a shot since it’s better than fishiness. I didn’t actually notice any flavor at all so that is a huge plus for me. These seem high quality; the matte finish is a bit curious but the description explains it is intended to provide extra coating for the capsule so it dissolves at the optimal place in the digestive system. I’ve never heard of that before! I’m not a huge fan of taking three at a time, but they go down easily at least.

I’ve been taking Omega-3 fish oils for many years now. These rank up to the top.
They come in a dark brown plastic bottle. All softgel capsules were complete, with nothing leaking, sticky, or mashed together. There is no smell coming out of the bottle or from the softgel. There is no taste to these either. They have a matte finish and are very easy to swallow, given they are on the larger side.
I have not experienced any fish or oily burps, and I have not had any upsetting of my stomach either.
Overall, I prefer these now, and you do get 80 days’ worth in a bottle. It would be nice if they just put in 270 to give you a straight 90-day supply.

I’ve been taking these Omega 3 softgels for a few weeks now, and they’ve been great for my overall health. The lemon flavor is subtle and helps mask any fishy aftertaste, so I don’t experience the usual burping I’ve had with other fish oils. The dosage is high, so it’s easy to get my daily intake in just a few softgels. I feel more energized and know I’m getting the essential EPA and DHA fatty acids. Definitely a good choice for a quality fish oil supplement.
