Fish oil is a tentpole of my daily supplement regimen. (I’m in my late 60s with excellent health and mobility). This “Health Dose Premium Omega 3” offering, at two daily softgets, delivers a hefty 1500mg total Omega-3 Fatty Acids, including DHA 600mg and EPA 800mg. In fact, halving that dosage by taking only one softgel per day would still provide a meaningful moderate dosage (which is what I’m doing). My only complaint is that there is zero info on what fish are used to produce this oil (the label simply says, “fish oil”). Some fish tend to be mercury laden. And some do not comply with my kosher-like diet. I’ll finish this bottle, but probably not purchase another until the labeling is more complete. Speaking of labeling: Gluten-free. GMP seal. Non-GMO. No fish burps.

Most of us are aware of the health benefits of Omega 3. The problem for some people is that many of the foods that contain high doses of Omega 3 are not ones we would list among our favorites. Seafood is a prime example, and since I’m not a seafood consumer, I get my fish oil and accompanying Omega 3 through fish oil. Health Dose Premium Omega 3 Fish Oil is a good choice for this dietary need.
With these softgels, you get a dose of 1500 total mg of Omega 3 per gel, divided among EPA, DHA, and other omega 3 fatty acids. The softgels are made with added lemon flavor, to make them not taste fishy, which would be a huge issue with many people myself included.
These softgels are a little larger in size than expected, but the slickness makes them easy to swallow with a glass of water. It is recommend that you take two gels per day. You could take just one, but I choose two because, well, I don’t consume many foods containing Omega 3 so I need all the help I can get.
This product likes to claim that the added lemon oil helps reduce fish burps. I am not familiar with this issue, so I cannot comment. I taste next to nothing when I take these. I stick them far back in my mouth and swallow with water. There is little time to taste.
Omega 3 has many benefits and those who enjoy seafood are often at the greatest advantage to make sure they get plenty of Omega 3 in their diets. I’m not one for seafood, so a supplement makes sense and Health Dose Premium Omega 3 Fish Oil are as good as any. They are non-gmo, gluten free, and help improve your health with little effort.

All the other fish oil supplements are misleading. This actually has high doses of the omegas, so not just fish oil. Which is advertised heavily on most major brands. It was actually hard finding something with high omega per pill, and this fit the bill and was a respectable price

I ordered these for my elderly dad who is going through some health problems. My dad has mobility issues (was a huge athlete younger) and also memory issues occasionally (brilliant guy, so this is hard on him). He is going to try fish oils and omega 3s to help his memory and mobility issues and does like this brand. He says their is no fishy taste, but they are gel tabs you swallow, so I’m not sure there would be fishy taste anyways. All the tablets were intact, the jar didn’t have any that leaked.

This supplement is made with lemon flavor to reduce fish burps, and I haven’t noticed any fish burps yet.
The fish source isn’t labeled so I’m wondering if it’s from fish that may contain mercury. The label should clearly state where the fish oil comes from, I won’t consider reordering until the label is updated with that information.

I have been taking this for the past six weeks. This item is Non-GMO and does not contain any artificial flavors. You get 600 mg DHA and 800 mg EPA. I take a couple per day and do not experience anything unpleasant in regards to taste or odor.
And in the six weeks I have experienced an overall positive boost in my physical well-being. Immune system, heart, and brain are all functioning very well. And during this time I have not experienced any adverse effects. Would definitely be buying this again in the near future.
