Fish oil (and omega 3’s in general) has a lot of benefits and I encourage anyone taking (or considering) omega 3 capsules to understand why they are doing so, and do a little research on the dosage. Depending on the reason you are taking it, the dosage may vary. For me, I take it to help control my high triglycerides (per doctor recommendation) and for that purpose I need high amounts of EPA/DHA… for other purposes, such as joint inflammation, lower dosages can be just as effective. This product has quite high amounts of EPA/DHA so it meets my needs using a 2 capsule dosage. For others, given how high the EPA/DHA is you may only need one capsule per day. Regardless, the price is very good. The capsules are pretty standard size for omega 3 capsules (fairly large but still easy to swallow for me). There is no fishy taste or aftertaste… and while these say they are lemon flavored the lemon is very weak but just enough to cover up any potential fishiness. I will add that I typically try to alternate my omega 3’s and will usually take fish oil capsules for 1-2 months, and then take flax seed oil capsules for 1-2 months. I have found that alternating the source of omega 3’s seems to have added benefits for me in controlling my triglycerides. Overall a nice product at a great price.

I just belched what could best be described as ‘if old fish tank water tastes how it smells.’ I only bought this because the listing says no fishy aftertaste. Lies! Won’t buy again.

This is a larger-than-average size Omega 3 softgel, but it is still a size that I can swallow. These softgels measure exactly 1″ in length. To get what is considered the full dose, you need to take two a day. If these were not softgels, I would have a difficult time swallowing a pill this size. However, these softgels have a higher amount of Omega 3s compared to some I have taken, so no doubt that is why they are larger.
I like all the benefits from taking Omega 3 daily, particularly the heart, anti-inflammatory, and current research that shows it helps with ADHD and can keep the brain functioning in a healthy manner. I do enjoy eating fish, but limit eating it to a couple times a week because of possible toxins. Needless to say, I rely on fish oil capsules to get my daily fatty acids. Two of these softgels contain 864 mg of EPA and 576 mg of DHA. There are 60 capsules in the bottle, so that is a full month’s supply. I like to take one in the morning and one with supper. Taking them with a full meal that contains some other fats ensures that more of this product is absorbed. I particularly like that these softgels do not cause fishy aftertaste as they are lemon flavored. This fish oil is sourced from anchovies.
This fish oil is also non-GMO and has no gluten, dairy, heavy metals, mercury, milk, eggs, shellfish, or peanuts. The product I received has an expiration date of 5/2023. This product is great at supporting the circulatory system and brain. It gets 5 stars from me!

I have been taking omega-3 fish oil for my thyroid gland for several years now (recommended by my doctors). I have tried many different brands and to me, the smell and after-taste are the most important considerations.
First, I like that this one comes with 60 gels instead of 120 or 180 pills like many other omega 3 fish oils sold on amazon. In this way, even if I don’t like the smell or taste, I don’t have to waste more than half of the quite expensive omega 3 which happened before.
Now, I didn’t really notice any lemon flavor to be honest, but I liked the fact it didn’t smell like fish and didn’t give my fishy burp after.
The amount of fish oil and omega 3 per serving is quite comparable to other brands in this price range. So I would say it’s fairly priced.
So far, I didn’t have any side effects from this particular brand after switching.
I wouldn’t notice any dramatic improvement of course as I have been taking omega 3 fish oil for a long time, but the fact this didn’t give me any drawback proves its quality is there (at least at par with other brands I have been taking).
I would recommend this for people who are sensitive about fish smell and aftertaste.
And again, it’s only a 30 days supply so if you don’t like it you can just go look for another one without wasting too much ( and also free return is guaranteed by Amazon.).

These are really good pills. They do exactly what you need them for and for the value you can’t get a better price. Unfortunately, the aftertaste lingers on for a awhile after taking them. I don’t know if this happens to everyone who takes these, but going into my last week’s worth of pills I kind of kept on dreading having to take them daily with my dinner. It was like my stomach was protesting and letting me know that enough was enough. Again, these pills are really good for what they are, but maybe pay extra for supplements that are more agreeable with your stomach and taste palette if you think that will bother you in any way. I know that is what I will do.
