I’ve never done fish oil as a liquid before, so I wasn’t used to the taste. It’s not bad, but not exactly ideal either. I’m sure this product is high quality and healthy, I think next time I’m going to get the pills instead though.

Once upon a time you could grab just about anything off the shelf and know that it comes from a reputable company and what they say is in it, is so! Not anymore sorry to say! There is a whole list of criteria you need to look for. So as far as shopping, it is not a quick grab and go anymore. It will benefit you in many ways to pay attention to what goes in your body and read labs and familiarize yourself with the brand! Premier Research Labs goes above and beyond transparency. They have all their certifications for their ingredients, manufacturing facilities (cGMP), non Gmo, organic, Kosher, and the most important lab tested ingredients. My purpose in telling you this is to emphasize the fact that anything that comes from Premier Research Labs you can be sure it is as they claim, and they use quality ingredients. I have complete and total trust in Premier Research Labs.
I love the fact that this Fish Oil Concentrate is in liquid form. Frankly, I’m pilled out and liquid suits my GI system well. This is a very good Omega formula. I take it for brain and joint support. Normally in the natural medicine world these vitamins and supplements do not work overnight. Because I’ve been taking another brand all along in pill form, I don’t expect to feel any different. As a matter of fact, if this formula is working, I should not notice any difference. So far, after 3 weeks I haven’t noticed that I am worse or better. To me that means Premier Research Lab’s Fish Oil is working fine. The only problem I am noticing is that fishy aftertaste. I noticed that they included vanilla and lemon flavor to try to disguise it. Good try but that fish taste wins out! It’s not as bad as others however, It’s quite mild and the ‘light’ oil mix make it go down quickly and easily. I just have a chaser of orange juice ready! This is an excellent product from a trustworthy company and I highly recommend both.

Although I’ve used their capsule version before, I found the pills to be quite large, which became evident one day when I took them alongside other supplements and experienced discomfort as they lodged in my throat momentarily. This liquid alternative is a welcome relief for those who prefer to avoid swallowing large capsules.
One aspect I particularly value is the sourcing of the fish oil and its third-party testing for purity and heavy metals. The cold processing method employed is also noteworthy as it helps preserve its nutritional integrity.
The flavor is only mildly fishy and not overpowering in my opinion. If you have an aversion to the taste of fish, you may wish to use the capsule version instead, but I had no problem with it whatsoever. What sets this supplement apart in my opinion is that I haven’t experienced any of the dreaded fish burps.
While I can’t explicitly state the specific benefits I’ve noticed in my labs, let’s just say it’s positively impacted certain “good” levels (if you know what I mean). I’m taking this in preparation for pregnancy and I appreciate its potential, though I do wish it contained more DHA for this purpose.
Moreover, the absence of any toxic additives, with only a natural fish-derived casing, is reassuring. The fact that it’s manufactured in the USA is another big plus in my book.

Coming from years of using liquid gel fish oil pills , it was different using a liquid form. Biggest difference was getting the taste of fish oil. It is lessened, but still there. I don’t mind fish, so the taste isn’t bad.
The negative is the need to refrigerate after opening. Tends to get lost in the fridge.
For me I’ll stick to liquid gel pill form. But for those whole struggle with swallowing pills, it’s a great high quality liquid fish oil supplement.

This fish oil seems of good quality and is easy to take. No fishy burps. Personally, I will stick with pills as I find that more convenient than this liquid form, but that’s not a knock against this quality product.

I don’t eat enough fish so I was hoping that I could take this fish oil liquid to help my heart and brain health. Although the product description stated organic lemon flavor, the oil still tastes fishy to me. It was hard to drink probably because I’m sensitive to fish smell.
