This brand of oil seems to work as well on my skin as another brand I usually buy, and this one has a nice price point. And I love that it comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. However, like other reviewers have mentioned, this oil has a slight petroleum sort of smell. It bothers me while I put it on my face for about a minute and then the odor dissipates and I don’t notice it anymore. When I sniff the bottle opening, I can detect no odor at all, only when I put it on does it smell slightly.
Anyway, I use squalane on my face, neck, chest and the backs of my hands as a moisturizer and it works so well for me I won’t go back to any other kind of face moisturizer. The backs of my old lady hands are soft as silk.

I bought this with the intention of mixing it with my airbrush makeup (not the right formulation for this application – thought it might work).
So, I decided to use it as a moisturizer. I had a bunch of lines/grooves above my lip. I had no idea there was anything I could do about this. I was Very mistaken. After only two weeks, the majority of my lines are gone. I only have a couple left and they are way better than before I started. I wish I’d taken pics before!
I’ve seen a few people comment on the formula being too thick. It takes about 15 minutes for it to soak into your skin. I just put my hair into a ponytail and let it soak in while getting ready for the day (and now also before bed).
Also, the texture of my skin and large pores are better as well. I don’t understand how good moisturizer helps with pore size, but it’s great! I was very unhappy with my increasingly textured skin and now feel sooooo much better about it. I’m going to try this after dermabrasion and micro-needling next.
And, No, I don’t work for the company lol! I’d recommend they recruit folks to do before/after pictures for everything I mentioned above.

I finally figured what’s been breaking me out after eliminating products and reintroducing and it’s the squalane oil, which should not be happening with pure squalane. I am past the return deadline so I can’t send this back like I would like to.
I really didn’t want to believe it was this because it was moisturizing but if it breaks me out it really isn’t worth it, when I put this on my healing acne got inflamed, red, and turned into cysts.
Please save your money and face and look elsewhere.

I love Squalane. It just makes one’s skin glow yet after a minute or two it’s not oily in the least (I’m generous, a few drops but many can use one or two).
This is not the brand I usually order but it had nice reviews, larger sized and in a brown bottle which is very good for oils. It arrived promptly and I tried it. It was clear, and felt lighter than what I was used to. I immediately requested a return. I used it again the next morning, last try. It was wonderful. It lasts as long as the somewhat heavier feeling one, and does exactly the same thing. I cancelled my return request because this is wonderful.
There are many kinds of skin oils and at all price ranges from gentle to ludicrous. This is as effective as the very expensive department store well-packaged oils. Squalane from olive oil is very similar to a natural substance within our own skin that provides moisture and hydration. I’ve read that at birth about 12% of our skin surface is made of squalene. In our mid-to-late twenties, its production begins to decline quite rapidly. And, by 50, production drops to below 5%. In any event, this wonderful oil helps add radiance and can be layered on top of or underneath a regular moisturizer if desired.

This is my secret to looking 10 years younger. I use it either at night or under my makeup during the day to keep my face looking youthful and glowing. It controls lines before they turn into wrinkles. I use it everywhere to keep my skin from appearing dry and dull. My hair, yep, works there too. It absorbs amazingly fast and never feels heavy, greasy or sticky. I have very sensitive skin so I’m hesitant to use most skin moisturizers, this is all natural and very effective. I’ve tried other (cheaper) brands and always go back to this one. I can’t imagine anyone not loving it. (No my purchase wasn’t free or discounted for a good review! I really do love it!)

I have always been very careful trying skin products because I have a very sensitive skin. Even some of those products that my friends recommended for sensitive skin have irritated mine. This oil is perfect for me! It moisturize my skin leaving it smooth and plumped. I’m in my late 40s and that is a very important to have at my age. It is a bit oily but after a few hours my skin absorbs it and I just love it. I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to aid the lack of elasticity that the 40s bring into our lives. I will definitely reorder soon.
