The product doesn’t state it but my wife swears that this helps her fall asleep at night. She sprays this on her feet and put socks on. She read somewhere about it, tried it and it worked for her. Its supposed to only help with sleep quality but she swears by it.

This is a nice magnesium spray that is smaller than other’s I’ve used but convenient to keep on my nightstand. I personally like to spray it on the bottom of my feet before I go to bed, helps me fall asleep easier and I feel like I get a more restful sleep. Magnesium is such an important mineral for our bodies and this is such an easy way to get it!

Well it certainly doesn’t feel like the consistency of oil. I have very dry skin so, I wouldn’t have minded that at all, actually I prefer it. That does however make it easier to apply and rub in. Ever since having my thyroid violently removed, I sleep like a lunatic. Well really 1.5-2 wks outta the month, I sleep like a loon and that’s right. before I have girl problem and when I’m. having girls problems. That would lead one to addume it’s hormonal. See, I rarely had girl problems prior to having cancer but, since the thyroid controls the hormones, I reckon it had something to do with that. From what one of my doctors told me, I should be supplementing magnesium and zinc so I thought this would be a great way to knock one of them out. Unfortunately, I couldn’t tell any difference while using this. However, my hubby has bad leg cramps almost every night so decided to try this and swears it helps end them and keeps from having so many.

I will preface this review by stating that there is minimal scientific evidence of any benefits of TOPICAL magnesium supplementation. Most studies that have been done have focused on oral magnesium supplements. I ordered this magnesium oil spray knowing this, so I was not under any false assumption that it would be a miracle cure for aches and pains. That being said, I do not plan on ordering this again.
This oil comes in a 2 oz. plastic bottle and has a standard spray nozzle. The plastic cap covering the nozzle comes off without issue. The bottle is comfortable to hold in one’s hand, and the small size allows you to easily maneuver it to reach awkward areas, such as the shoulder blade.
It only took a couple pumps to activate the nozzle and spray the oil into my hand. I was surprised by the consistency — this “oil” has more of a watery appearance and feel. Also, there was more of a fragrance than I was expecting. This product has tea tree oil listed as one of the ingredients, which is not listed anywhere in the product’s online description. This is not one of my favorite scents, which is why I would not reorder this spray.

I’m incredibly bothered by anything with an ‘oil’ feel, but I wanted to try tropical magnesium since there’s some studies about it working. It’s hard to rate it on whether it ‘works’ as I’m more curious over the long term, but I appreciate it not being straight up greasy. I wouldn’t be able to tolerate it if it was.

I snagged this magnesium spray because I’ve been putting these sprays like crazy on my feet to help with night sweats. I apply the spray to my feet and calves until the skin is wet and slippery and then I let it absorb and rub it in with my hands.
After the oil dries, it does feel like kind of a sea salt spray has dried on your skin, But that doesn’t bother me because of the great benefits that this gives me in terms of preventing night sweats. I have also sprayed the spray under my armpits for additional effect. After I use it and rub it in I usually do rinse off my hands because of that salty sticky feeling . Highly recommend this spray.

My wife experiences trouble sleeping and falling asleep and we’ve been trying different natural remedies to help improve that. Ordered the small bottle of magnesium oil for her to spray on her feet and legs at nighttime.
The spray goes on like an oil but then once it dries there is a residue left over that is more like salt scrub residue. Which is fine, doesn’t bother her.
She feels that there is a little bit better sleep over the past month or so, but it’s really hard to tell if it’s this magnesium oil or just being more active in the day and therefore able to sleep better.
