I didn’t have any problems taking these krill oil supplements. Krill oil is “supposed” to be a better source of Omega-3 oils than salmon, but I don’t know why. In any case, as long as the ingredients are listed correctly, they are a fine source of Omega-3 oil as a supplement to your diet.
This Red Krill Oil from Nature’s Truth arrived to me as it’s presented in the listing here. There are 60 soft-gels per bottle, with 1g of Krill Oil per soft-gel. The Suggested serving is 2 softgels daily, preferably with a meal. So, at 2 soft-gels per day, this bottle of 60 soft-gels will provide 30 servings. The soft-gels are small and easy to swallow. I like that the bottle’s label mentions how much Omega 3, Astaxanthin, etc is present in the Krill Oil, however the bottle is vague about where these soft-gels are manufactured. The bottle mentions that these soft-gels are designed and distributed by Nature’s Truth, however there is no mention as to where these soft-gels are manufactured. That’s some information that I feel should be mentioned on the bottle’s label.

Krill Oil is wonderful source of Omega-3; it has many health benefits. The doctor has my mother taking Krill Oil for years so I started taking them too. A quick search on the internet lists several of the benefits:
1. Anti Inflammatory: “Krill oil contains omega-3 fatty acids and a pinkish-orange pigment that have anti-inflammatory properties.”
2. Heart: “Krill oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which may improve heart health and cardiovascular systems.”
3. Brain Health: “Krill oil contains omega-3s and phospholipids, which may help with cognitive functions like memory and concentration.”
4. Cholesterol: “Krill oil may help lower LDL (bad) cholesterol levels and increase HDL (good) cholesterol levels.”
These are reasonably priced Krill Oil capsules. They’re a bit large but as capsules, easy to swallow. The daily dosage of 2 capsules provides 2000 mg of Krill Oil. I’ve been taking 1 in the am and the other one in the pm. I’ve felt no side effects so far (nausea or queasy stomach). I like they have no wheat, soy, milk, lactose, artificial sweeteners or preservatives or flavors. These are a reasonably priced 30 day supply of Krill Oil.
This seems like a pretty good Omega-3 supplement. I’m planning on replacing my fish oil omega-3s with these since I think they may be more sustainable and eco-friendly long term.
Note that each serving is two softgels, so the container with 60 pieces is only good for 30 days at the recommended usage. It’s got a good amount of omega-3 for the serving though, so it’s comparable to what I’m using before.
So far I haven’t noticed any differences after switching from my old fish oil to this, so looks like my replacement plan might work. Though this is more expensive than the fish oil…
This is the perfect Krill oil supplement. The capsules are a tad on the large side, however nothing unreasonable since they contain 1000mg each. High recommend if someone is looking for a cost friendly krill oil supplement.
I needed an omega 3 supplement and krill oil is one of the best sources of omega 3, these are on the larger side so be aware they are not small and you do need to take 2 per day. So you get a 30 day supply for around $20 which is on the pricey side for supplements but you are getting clean krill oil. The supplements don’t have a flavor and are pretty easy to swallow they slide easily. They are on the larger side so if you have problems with large pills these may not be the best for you. After taking them I did get some fishy burps but that seems typical of omega 3 supplements for me. I have only taken these for a few days so no major benefits that I have felt (no adverse effects either) but will continue to take them daily and see how it goes, I would recommend these based on the price and quality they are worth it in my book.
