I prefer krill to fish oils for Omega 3, but it usually costs so much more that it’s not always feasible. If you take their recommended dosage, these are fairly reasonable. These are small and easy to take, no fishy smell or lasting taste/aftertaste. The light vanilla smell and flavor is a surprise after years of fish oil! I also take astaxanthin which is included in this, but there is no indication of how much is included, so I have no idea how much this is providing. Also doesn’t provide as large a dose of EPA/DHA that I normally take, so that’s a drawback for me. Lab tested for heavy metal is a must. So, pros and cons, but if you are looking for some basic Omega 3, and don’t like traditional fish oils, this might be a good choice for you.

From what I gather this krill oil has all the “right stuff,” but just not in a very potent amount. It claims to be harvested from the Antarctic, which is a recommended source, and it also contains Astaxanthin and Phospholipids, that regular fish oil does not. This said, one serving (one capsule), had about 1/2 to 1/3 the amount of MGs (EPA/DHA), which is a lower dose than suggested by other published guidelines. So two capsules a day is probably more beneficial. I do not really notice any effect of taking these, or any similar product, but I do continue to take these Omega 3 type products because I believe they are for the better in the long run.

Vitality Span Antarctic Krill Oil seems to be a great product. It comes as a small, easy to swallow gelcap that has no fishy taste, even after swallowing. Each gelcap contains 500mg Krill Oil (100mg of EPA/DHA) and Aswaganda-an adaptogenic herb. It is difficult to determine if a supplement like this is truly doing what it is supposed to do but I do feel better taking it. I is manufactured in an FDA approved lab that has the GMP seal of approval and is non-GMO. It comes from wild caught krill and is heavy metal tested. I will take these until they are gone-2 months supply in the bottle-and update my review with any negative effects. For now I woul recommend these to anyone looking for an affordable Omega 3 supplement with no fishy aftertaste.

The Vitality Span antarctic krill oil seems to be a premium product. When budget allows, I always choose krill oil over fish oil supplements. The most important feature for me which was advertised, is that it’s heavy metal tested and put together in the USA.
I’m taking it twice a day with breakfast and dinner. I doubled up on the suggested dosage as I’m really trying to get my cholesterol down. The FDA has not determined any health benefits but through hearing anecdotal stories, I’m hoping that it’ll provide some benefit.
The capsules are smallish in size and has a mild vanilla flavor. Stamped exp. date is 03/2025.

This krill oil supplement is a good way to get your omega 3s and this products price seems to be on par with most other products available. It also meets the gold standard for a supplement containing in the bottle what is listed on the bottle…made in a first world nation (USA), in a cGMP facility and third party tested…it doesn’t get much better than that.

These krill oil capsules are an excellent value, especially because they are wild caught and sustainably harvested in the Antarctic. I also love that they are manufactured in the USA in a FDA registered, GMP certified facility, pulse they are lab verified. I also appreciated that there were amounts given for the phospholipids and EPA/DHA because other krill oil capsules often just list krill oil without stating the amounts of those other goodies. What more can you ask for in a supplement? I really can’t think of any negatives when it comes to this supplement. The capsules are easy to swallow and I did not experience any negative side effects. I will repurchase these because the capsules are held to high standards and are extremely reasonable, given the quality.
