I am not a medical professional and only sharing my personal experience but my doctor recommended that I include fish oil supplements into my daily routine. I tried many brands that I tossed because they gave me ‘fish burps’ hours after taking them. Krill Oil supplements were the only kind I found that didn’t cause any unpleasant after taste or effect. These Antarctic Krill Oil supplements provide quality ingredients in the recommended dose with only one capsule daily and I had zero issues with aftertaste and/or fish burps. At $27.95 (with a 10% additional discount at the time of this writing), for a 2-month supply seems very reasonable for the quality.

There is no percentage daily value of Omega-3 listed in the Supplement Facts label, though the product is advertised as containing Omega-3 and that supplement is listed on the front of the bottle. Other than that, the ingredients are just as described. The fragrance is the most pleasant I have ever encountered for a krill oil. The capsules are small–a very comfortable size for swallowing. I am glad to add krill oil to my diet via these pleasant capsules.

While the source of the krill oil isn’t specified, it’s still a great option for those seeking krill oil supplements.

I prefer krill oil instead of fish oil because the softgels are smaller and no fishy aftertaste. I take krill oil regularly. This oil is a good quality and very similar to my usual brand. However, it’s not a good value. I pay less for much more softgels the same dose.

Overall: 5 stars (excellent) – I prefer Krill Oil over Fish Oil for my Omega-3’s. No fish burps. This Daily Defense Krill Oil are high quality Softgels. Note that it uses bovine gelatin, so it’s not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.

QUALITY: excellent – Made in the USA and cGMP certified. No indication of 3rd party lab testing.
USAGE EXPERIENCE: above average – 1 soft gel per day for a 60 day supply. 18 month shelf life

While I’m sold on the benefits of fish oil I’m still wary of supplements that have a fishy aftertaste or cause fishy burps. This krill soft gel was great in that regard, I didn’t have any weird flavors repeating on me after taking it. For the price a two month supply is pretty good.

This is Antarctic Krill Oil by Daily Defense brand. The bottle contains 60 capsules which will last two months. The capules contain 100% Antarctic Krill oil that contains Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA and naturally occuring Astraxanthin. The capsules are easy to swallow and no fishy after taste. This is a good brand.
