This is my first time of trying cod liver oil. I like the added lemon taste to the oil. Not sure if I could handle the pure oil taste. It seems that the omega3 content in clo (serving teaspoon) is much more concentrated than that in regular fish oil (sardine, mackerel,…; serving tablespoon) which is great for value.
I don’t believe that this is wild-caught but farm-caught because of the price difference with wild caught clo.
Vitamin A was added because original vitamin A was removed/destroyed during processing. I am ok with it.

Ever since my boys were 6 months old I started giving them fish oil. They love the taste and always run to the fridge when I open it for any reason to get some fish oil. Perfect for those who cannot swallow tablets. I myself and husband take capsules. My aunt who was already a sickly child and adult was given Fish oil by spoonful. She has the best memory that I have seen for many decades. She was told that she would not live to celebrate her 25th birthday and now at age of 92 she still walks by herself, dresses and feeds herself. Amazing what early intervention and lots of zest for life can do!

***Update: I contacted the company and they sent me a new free bottle with the lemon lime added this time.
I have been using this product for 2 years, taking a daily dose of 1 Tablespoon to combat inflammation. I have never before had an issue with bad taste, which I have always been so impressed with! However, my last bottle must be part of a lot that is missing the lemon lime taste. It tastes and smells like a fish cleaning station. There are zero returns and I can’t see a way to contact the company through Amazon, because I would have much rather discussed this privately. There must be a way to do that. Anyway, it’s going to have to go in the trash.

I was really, REALLY disappointed when I got this bottle and saw it contains soy. Why in the WORLD would anyone put SOY in Cod Liver Oil? Soy is toxic and inflammatory and an allergen to so many people! I just wanted good, clean, pure, quality Cod Liver Oil and now I have a bottle of Cod Liver Oil with SOY added! WHY? WHY? WHY?
And when I opened it, my wife said it smells like floor cleaner and when I tasted it I told her it tastes like floor cleaner too! Nasty stuff. And they refuse to stand behind their product. If you buy it, you’re stuck with it. They will not let you return it and they will not refund your money. So if you want soy in your Cod Liver Oil and like the taste of floor cleaner, go for it. No more Nature’s Answer Products for us though, ever.

I have been pleased with this product. I love that it is molecularly distilled (the toxins have been discarded)and care seems to have been taken to make this a quality oil. It is quite potent for using just 1 teaspoon per serving and is suppose to last 96 servings. I am almost done with the first bottle and have ordered another and it still seems to be fresh.
The price is excellent….I have not seen an oil of this quality this inexpensive anywhere.
The taste is okay, not great, but not offensive…….well, to me anyway.

This is a great product. Cod Liver Oil is terrific for your hair and skin and will keep you looking young. My grandmother took it all her life and when she was 100, people thought she was in her sixties. It used to be difficult to take because it was thick and tasted fishy. This product is emulsified and you could really use it in salad dressing.

My family of 4 has been taking this for about 3 weeks now and I just ordered 2 more bottles. After much research including Weston Price guidelines for cod liver oil I choose this one. It has a good vit A:vit D ratio and the price is easy on the wallet. I opted not to try the fermented oil due to concerns for a possible histamine reaction and I just didn’t think we could stomach it. My kids are 1 and 5 yrs old and eagerly take their “juice oil” each morning. They take 1/2 tsp mixed with juice in little medicine cups. My husband and I take 1 tsp. We all like the flavor and have not had any “fish burps”. My husband gets terrible exzema on his hands each winter. Since he started taking this his exzema has vanished.
My only wish is that this was a verified non-GMO product. This has vit E added (mixed tocopherol) which is why the label states it contains soy. I’m on the fence as to whether this is good or bad. The vit E might be helpful for the skin and it’s not a super high amount. It’s also a preservative.

I was raised on this stuff. It got me off to a good start. I am 73 years old and am in great health. I don’t have high blood pressure, eat and drink whatever I want, don’t have diabetes, have a full head of hair and all my own teeth. Other than fine print, I don’t use glasses. I have not seen a doctor in 30 years, don’t take any medications and I lead a full life. I can’t credit cod liver oil alone for my good health but it certainly is an important factor. Nature’s Answer cod liver oil is molecularly distilled oil from cod caught in the cold unpolluted waters of the North Atlantic which is what you should expect from a quality product.
