Great buy for almost 4 ounces. Love this. Does wonders for my skin. It heals almost anything on my skin….and quickly. I had a little break-out that I was having a heck of a time trying to completely get rid of…right between my eyebrows. This cleared it up in 3 days. Fabulous…cannot say enough good things about it.

the smell isn’t great (not bad, just not as refreshing or nutty as some other carrier oils but this is a completely personal preference/biased opinion). I’ve been using it in tangent with other natural skin care products so it’s hard to decipher how effective it is in relation to the benefits touted as advertised. but my overall skin quality and appearance have vastly improved since switching to using plant derived natural products versus chemicals and this is one of my preferred oils for moisturizing and to be used as a carrier oil for treatment oils (like tea tree oil for pimple spot treatment). it is easily absorbed, thin oil/low viscosity so seemingly light and breathable (for someone who is already used to using oil vs. a conventional moisturizer or serum made from chemicals, etc), and a little goes a very long way. i’ve had this 4 oz bottle for months and it’s not even 1/4 of the way gone. also, the comedogenic rating is only 1 (low) out of 5 so it’s very good for acne prone skin.

I’m big into holistic beauty and firmly believe in making your own products as much as possible to SAVE……I used to buy so many expensive products with all sorts of these ‘beauty oils’ in them and finally after doing extensive research decided I’d try making my own basic serums and creams. I can honestly say I’ve probably saved thousands of dollars on expensive skin care products by making my own stuff…..and honestly i’ve had better results with them since 1- the products are FRESH 2 – no added CRAP in the product….just pure all natural and beneficial products. I buy all of my own vitamin c, e, b3 and hyaluronic acid powders (and many others) as well….and make everything fresh every two weeks! I compete as a NPC competitor and a lot of your scoring comes from overall skin quality…..buying large bottles of anti-aging and tightening lotions to cover yourself with from head to toe gets extremely expensive……now I buy organic inexpensive carrier lotions and add as many beauty perfecting ingredients as I want!
Sea Buckthorn Oil in particular is fabulous stuff…definitely very happy i’ve added this oil to my barrage of pure essential oils….I usually apply this, kiwi seed oil, passionfruit oil, neroli, myrrh and frankincense oil after smoothing on my serum made from hyaluronic acid, vitamin a and c……I can’t say much in regards to wrinkle reduction……however I can say if you look at my pics from my senior year of high school and now (11 years later) I look exactly the same, no wrinkles or anything……so clearly something is working!
Btw – I have combination skin and so far haven’t noticed any issues with this particular oil breaking me out, so that’s a win!

This oil is not too thick. Absorbs well into skin. Makes my skin softer. I will definitely recommend for the nutritional value as well.

I love the oils this company sells but don’t ask for samples. I did and I learned well. I did get samples with my second order with the company and they were 4 oz bottles but and its a big but. One one of the bottles the seal was missing ( maybe a return item) and the other one the front of the bottle said blackberry oil but on the back on the bottle it said raspberry oil. When i emailed the company the response I got from them is basically we send you 4 oz instead of 1 oz so don’t complain. Whats the point I cant use them, not with a missing seal on one and with a don’t know what in the second bottle. I wanted blackberry oil but got some pink stuff with white dots in it. I do love rose hip oil that i got that i paid for but if you didn’t pay them for sample they will send you crap.
