I hated this the first time I used it. I used a pump’s worth, since I thought that’s what I should do. Sooo much oil.
But I didn’t give up and tried again, with less.
Listen – you need MUCH less than you think you do, and then less than that.
I’m talking DROPS. One to two, *maybe* three. Do not do a full pump. Barely tap the pump and you’ll get a drop at a time. It goes SO far.
It does leave a little oiliness behind but honestly not as bad as you’d think. It absorbs really well for an oil.
And my skin is soo much more hydrated. It’s really helped with my over-oily skin I think (I know that sounds contradicting).
I think this is good quality and recommend giving it a try.

I know people take emu oil as a supplement. However, this doesn’t say it’s for taking internally-so I’m definitely using it externally! The oil does not have a scent, is light & pleasant in feel, absorbs well, and is not sticky. I feel safe using this on my dog, as it is a natural oil from an animal, and it is supposed to help with skin conditions as well as muscle aches. I haven’t tried it on my face yet, though I did use it post-Brazilian wax, as I prefer natural oils. I had zero red spots the next day like I usually do. No stinging on applying it either. I am going to use it on my preschooler’s dry skin, as well as my scalp psoriasis. Love the many uses.

I applied this to the back of one hand only, and compared to the other hand it was definitely well moisturized, soft, and the wrinkles appeared diminished. And that was just a couple of drops. It seems quite expensive for the one ounce size, but a little does go quite a ways. There is a slight scent which is pleasant.

Let me start by raving about Ultra Emu Oil® 100% Pure Emu Oil for Skin, Face, Hair & Nails: the one ounce of this gem came conveniently packaged in a plastic bottle with pump top for precise dosing. It takes only the smallest amount to go a long way! It goes on very lightly, with no greasy feeling nor scent. Yet it truly moisturizes with its essential fatty acids.
I almost wish I hadn’t looked up what emu oil is made of. Yes, indeed, emus. Apparently emus are eaten; I’ve only seen them in petting zoos. So emotionally, it’s a tough sell. But intellectually, if someone is already eating emu meat, better we make good use of the fat.

Just a little will cover a large area, so don’t pump too much at once.
I’ll be applying this to my keloids to see if it helps flatten them out. I don’t expect them to go away, but I do hope they will flatten out a little.
Very little to almost no scent to this, which is good.

Really lightweight oil, it absorbed well into the skin and isn’t greasy. A little goes a long way but for the price, I wish the bottle was bigger.

Never tried Emu oil before, so this was a nice treat. I got it to see how it will do, it hydrates skin nicely. There is no scent, I like the quality of it and the brand. The dispenser is nice, and overall seems to be nice. I don’t have many negatives, maybe the price could be less for the amount you get. But it is multifunctional and a little goes a long way. You can mix it with cream or lotion. Absorbs well and is non greasy.

I have been using Vitamin E for many years to treat skin irritation and to aid in healing skin. I used it on a healing incision after surgery to help prevent scarring, which it does well. Vitamin E works well but has a sticky texture that isn’t nice to work with. I’ve never even heard of Emu oil but was anxious to give it a try. I was beyond thrilled with the results of this oil in every way possible. I had an irritated area of skin on my face due to a reaction to a new skin product so I applied a tiny bit of this oil (a little goes a LONG way) over the irritated area before going to bed. Upon waking, the irritation was almost completely gone…after only one light application over one night. Not sticky at all and feels so nourishing on one’s skin. It is a tiny bottle for $21 but it takes such a tiny amount of oil, I feel it is certainly worth it.
