I have recently read about Cyprus rotundas oil and its ability to help with hair removal. This serum has a nice herbal scent. The formula has a nice consistency that absorbs nicely into the skin. I apply after shaving in the evening. I chose to use it for my underarms as I am fair skinned and have dark hair. Everything I have read said it takes several months before you start seeing results so I will update my review accordingly but I am very excited to utilize a more natural approach to hair removal.

I’ve read about the benefits of cyperus rotundus oil and how it can help slow unwanted hair growth so I was excited to try this. Cyperus rotundus is listed as the first ingredient but is not the only one, but at least it is the first one on the list so we know it’s the primary ingredient. The consistency feels more like a serum to me, which makes for easier absorption and a less greasy feel. You get 2 individually packaged 2oz bottles with a dropper and that seems to me like a good value for the $13.99 list price, as there’s enough here to last a few months even with daily use. I’m definitely looking forward to the benefits over time.

As a woman, keeping myself hair free in areas of my body have been a lifelong battle. lol I have tried different things like shaving, waxing, IPL and none of them really worked well for me as pretty much within a few days, I would start to see hair growth. -__-
I have researched this oil and it seems that it actually does help slow down the growth of hair which makes me very happy to see. So I am giving this an optimistic 5 stars.
It has a spicy aroma kinda like black pepper without the nose tickling aspects of it which was not that pleasant to me but after about 30 to 45 minutes later, the scent disappeared so I don’t mind it too much.
If it does not work for me, I will come back and update this review BUT I am hopefully optimistic after reading all the notes on it that I found on the internet. =)
Also, please remember that everyone’s body is different and what works for me, might not work for you and vice versa.

Since this oil is marketed as a product to slow hair regrowth, and all bodies are so different, I don’t feel comfortable reviewing on that aspect.
As for the oil, its very lightweight and absorbs in well, although it took a little bit to fully soak in. I used it on my chin hairs, and I have sensitive skin. Overall, no irritation or redness, and after a few days of use, it seems to be slowing the growth.
It’s a great value for two bottles, because if you are applying it to a small section of skin as I am, it will last a long time.

Cyperus Rotundus is a perennial plant, a type of sedge, that has a beneficial history dating back thousands of years. It’s been used as food, perfume, and a water purifier. It’s also been used in western medicine (dating back at least to Pliny the Elder) and in modern ayurvedic medicine. Recently it’s developed a reputation for inhibiting hair growth, and in one research study was compared favorably as an alternative to Alexandrite laser therapy for reducing unwanted hair (results in Vol. 34, Issue 5, July 2014 of Aesthetic Surgery Journal, published by Oxford Academic).
I thought I’d give it a try, so I ordered Jefuzh’s Cyperus Rotundus Oil for Hair Removal. It will take months to determine if the oil does retard hair growth—I’m doing an experiment on a small patch of one leg. I’ll report back in a few months on what I find, and adjust the rating up or down, depending.
Meanwhile, I’ll say that the oil is gentle, has a very pleasant scent, and was non-irritating for me. The order contains two bottles (2 ounces each), individually boxed. Each box comes with a dropper to make application easier and non-messy. There’s enough oil here for months of applications, which makes this purchase an economical buy.

I read about a study on how this is to help with hair growth on the face, and I have been using it for a few days now. My skin feels moisturized, and no irritation, but havent seen results just yet on the hair decrease. After some time, I will see it indeed helps.

I’m just gonna be honest here, I’m a woman and I get those dreaded chin hairs that I’m sure most of us get but don’t want to talk about and certainly don’t want to deal with. I don’t know yet if this will help since it will take time, but I’m certainly willing to find out. The bottle is a little bigger than I expected. It is plastic, so if you were hoping for glass… Sorry. It does feel a little cheap, but it looks really nice and looks like a decent product otherwise. The box that it comes in looks Greek almost, but it says it’s made in China. The price is good, especially for the two pack. It smells really nice. It didn’t irritate my skin at all, so that’s a win. All in all, I’m happy with it thus far.

I’m Armenian and I’ve struggled with facial hair growth my entire life. Started getting waxing done in junior high and I’ve even had laser hair removal (which just made it worse). This oil is very soothing at the very least, so I’m happy to incorporate it into my home waxing routine. I am very, very hopeful that it will help decrease the growth so at the very least I won’t have to wax as often, but in the meantime my skin is very soft!
