I love this product so much! I always have castor oil on hand, and when I travel I can’t bring my big glass bottle, so this is the perfect alternative and it does the job great! The quality is superior and the results are spot on every time! If you are looking for a small bottle of castor oil to have on hand, or a bottle that you can easily travel with, these are the ones for you! I highly recommend this product!

Lovely and simple castor oil to treat most and any ailment… dry scalp… dry skin… and it draws out impurities.

Comprato perché era quello sponsorizzato dalla Dott.ssa. Messo alla prova.

Clean, easy to apply, thick and sticky but eventually it softens into skin and you don’t feel the stick anymore. I think it also helps with indigestion and gets things moving. I put it on my pain points and stomach and then had a bit of a day following. Less is more, no scent. Definitely do not put it on the roots of your hair because it will just become one big greaseball

I have to mix with an oil but it’s good. A small size but lasts a long time. Pure.

Second time purchasing! Great product! Very thick no smell and leaves my skin feeling super soft as I mix with frankinscence oil for a night moisturizer. Also used for my hair as I’ve dealt with a lot of hair loss due to stress. Seems to work. Great size bottle. Natural product!

After being dissatisfied with the results of dry cuticle oils, I wanted to try castor oil on my cuticles (eponychium, actually) and on the skin around my nails, which gets dry and flaky and looks bad. I chose Aura Cacia because it is cold-pressed, organic, I like the products that its parent company produces (Aura Cacia is owned by Frontier Co-Op), and the price is a lot better than castor oil that is marketed as a beauty product. This is a generous 4-ounce (half-cup) bottle. The bottle is flexible; you can squeeze it. The oil comes out a hole in the top that has a little flap over it to prevent the oil from pouring out in large quantity.
Castor oil is heavy and goopy, similar in consistency to olive oil, so it’s not practical to leave it on my fingers for long during the day. I prefer to use it at night, slathered over my nails and surrounding skin, inside cotton gloves intended for moisturizing or skin treatments. The oil has more opportunity to soak in that way, though a lot of it ends up in the gloves. I’ve been pleased with the results. The skin around my nails is softer and more uniform in texture and color. I plan to try the castor oil on my eyebrows also, to see if it will help my thinning brows, but I fear the goopiness of the oil will make a mess of my sleep mask.
I also purchased Aura Cacia’s Vegetable Glycerin to use in homemade serums. Those with soy allergy should be aware that this vegetable glycerin is sourced primarily from soy. I am impressed by the selection and prices for Aura Cacia’s body care oils. The company produces a lot of oils for massage but also classics like jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, hemp seed oil, and sweet almond oil. Their face oils, such as argan or rose hip oil, are more expensive than those from The Ordinary, but they offer Tamanu Seed Oil, Baobab Seed Oil, and Macadamia Oil. They also offer a variety of essential oils and mists, but those are not my thing.
