But it does work well. Just where I put a squirt or two in my hands to go the length of my hair and thankfully, the smell did dissipate, but it took a few minutes in my hair; in my hands, seconds. My hair feels softer and my hair looks shiny and the smell is gone now.

The Kaibae Baobab Oil comes in a generous 1.7oz black glass pump bottle. Before seeing this product, I’d never heard of baobab oil.
This oil is cultivated by pressing the baobab tree’s seeds. Baobab oil is a nutrient-rich oil with many health benefits; a natural source of antioxidants, vitamin A, vitamin E, and omega fatty acids.
It is a light amber color and does have a hint of what I would call a woodsy, natural scent. The only ingredient in the bottle is the “organic, cold-pressed, wildcrafted” baobab oil.
If you are curious about what wildcrafted means, wildcrafting is the practice of harvesting plants from their natural or ‘wild’ habitat, primarily for food or medicinal purposes. When wildcrafted, the compounds are not chemically altered or synthetically modified.
This oil is suitable for use on skin and hair. It is rich in linoleic acids, an omega-3 fatty acid known for having anti-inflammatory properties. Thus, it may be beneficial for irritated skin. Linoleic acid is an essential building block for ceramides, one of the skin’s main moisturizing elements.
For me, it takes a little while for this oil to absorb into my skin. I would not call this a dry oil. One pump is more than enough for your entire face and maybe enough leftover residue to finger-comb through your hair.

I use this on my hair after washing and occasionally all over after coming out of the shower. Normally I use neutrogena body oil, this does just as well as that. Only down side it doesn’t smell as nice as the neutrogena oil. The smell does go away, but I don’t have that nice smell the rest of the day like I do with other body oils. Small price for something that is sustainable and vegan.

Lovely body oil. It actually spreads better than most and of course it absorbs on contact. My skin looks healthy and glowing.. I add a few drops to body lotion or cream, but sometimes I use it by itself. It does a great job locking in moisture and hydration either way. The scent is light, which is great because it reminds me of dry dog food. Thats the only thing im not diggin about this body oil (the scent dissipates quickly though).

THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! I put a drop of this in my facial moisturizer before applying and OMG, it made my skin look better immediately! Moisturized, healthy glow wherever you put this stuff! I had never heard of Baobab Oil before, but after googling it, turns out its a PERFECT oil to use for your skin thats rich with anti-inflammatory, nutrients and antioxidants. It doesnt really have a scent and doesn’t leave a greasy residue behind like alot of other face oils do. I have also been using it as cuticle oil and it has worked wonders on my dry, overwashed pandemic hands. I wish it came with a dropper dispenser versus a pump bottle, so that it would be easier to control. A little goes a long way and I always end up dispensing more than I’d like to with the pump. Still though, this stuff has a permanent spot in my skin care routine- liquid, all-purpose gold!

I do love how moisturizing this makes my skin…however it does make me break out.. so I won’t be using this on my face, only on my arms and legs.

I have a large amount of skin amendments, so when one comes along, then I can really know the difference, emotional I can’t help recommending it to others. It is essentially non-greasy, but holds the moisture in my skin for the majority of the day. I’m 81 years old, so when something makes a notable difference, I need to let others know. I’ll continue to buy when this bottle runs out.
