I mainly use it as a facial moisturizer, but have also used it on my hair and cuticles. It’s an excellent product and works well on my really dry skin. I love the scent–a sensual orange aroma.

This Pre De Provence Moroccan Argan Oil for Skin is a half ounce of oil in a nice glass bottle with dripper dispenser. It has orange essential oil added for a strong fragrance. You use in small drop amounts to rub into your skin such as your cuticles, feet or dry spots. Orange essential oil will react with the sun to burn your skin so keep this in mind about how you will use it and at what time of day. For example perhaps using before bed would be smartest.
In researching Argan oil for my work I was surprised to learn that in Morocco is the main oil similar to how olive oil is the main oil of Spain and Italy. In Morocco they consider it a basic staple and its main use is in cooking. Secondarily it is used in skincare and directly on the skin as it is what is available. It is not considered special, superior or exotic in Morocco, it is considered a basic regular oil that is native there. However in the last ten years this common oil began being marketed to the Western countries as an exotic expensive oil. The properties of the oil, it’s makeup is almost identical to olive oil! There is nothing extra special about it except it is native to a land far away from the USA. It has become a great profit maker for Morocco and Americans are paying high prices for Argan Oil products as if it is the latest wonder ingredient.
Rating 5 stars = Love It as I love the strong scent and that it is derived from Orange essential oil not a fragrance made in a lab, and Argan does the job so it’s a good product. I just think Argan oil is hyped and the price is inflated not due to rarity but just for large profits by the companies making it in Morocco.

This fantastic pure organic Argan oil is great. We like it a lot.
It is not greasy, although it is an oil – and it feels soft on our faces and it makes our skin look fantastic.
This special oil is lightweight; it is a ultra nourishing moisturizer and it takes years off one’s face skin. It contains a super level of antioxidants Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. The results on one’s face, whether young or mature, are amazing and the results were noticeable by everyone we spoke to in a positive way.

I wanted to try this argan oil for my hands and nails. I’ve seen products like this mentioned in articles and advertisements so when I had the chance to try an argan oil I took advantage of that chance. For me it’s just an okay product. It is applied with a dropper so it’s hard to control the amount dispensed if you only want a tiny bit to rub into your fingernails. I found it was easier just to put some on the back of my hand and rub it into my hands and nails at the same time. It does take a little time for the oil to be absorbed and my skin looks very wet and oily. Once the product is absorbed (maybe five or six minutes) it is just fine, but nothing really special. I did not notice any particular aroma with this oil even though I think it is supposed to be orange scented.
I like the hand lotion and cream I am already using much better than the Pre de Provence Moroccan Argan Oil so I would say this was only a moderate success for me. I will not be switching from the product I’ve been previously using.

I’ve used this product before and like it very much. I use it on my hands and hair.

If you use Argan oil, sometimes, you would like to have it scented. This is what Pre De Provence has done with their argan. They added sweet orange essential oil and it now has a burst of citrus that is pleasing on the hair, hands, skin, nails and body. The company also supports a charitable organization called Maracavie, which helps protect the Argan forest, helps women, their children and education of the children under the Maracavie umbrella. You can be doing something good for you and your body as well as others in another country,

Update: I liked this enough that I bought a bottle for my mom.
At first, I didn’t think I would like this Pre De Provence Moroccan Argan Oil much at all and thought to give it only 3 stars at most. At only half an ounce for just under $18 (at time of this review), I thought it small. But added to that, when I first opened it, I couldn’t detect any citrus (orange) at all – and that promise of orange was why I ordered this oil. I thought it looked too thick at first as well to absorb into my skin effectively. The last thing I wanted was another oil that sits on my face so my hair sticks to my face. Ugh.
However, once I applied a small drop I found not only does a little go a long way (and thus the bottle will last longer) but it spreads easier than I anticipated and the subtle orange scent I wanted was there as I applied it. I put my small drop from the glass dropper onto my finger tip and massaged it directly to my just-cleansed face. Not only did it smooth on better than I thought, but my skin began to soak it right up; there was no slickly oily residue all over my face like some oils. After a few minutes, I touched my face and it was smooth feeling without any indication I’d applied a thick oil to it.
The next time I applied it, I rubbed in the oil, moistened my fingertips, and massaged my face. This worked too and it made the oil absorb even faster.
I’ve been looking for an oil that would absorb into my skin and not leave my skin too oily, and this does the trick.
Though I’d really like to see the citrus maybe a little stronger, I can understand that for a facial oil it they may not have wanted to irritate the skin with too much orange peel added and it does have a nice orange scent after all. I would use this exclusively for my skin: face, hands, neck, etc; however, you can also use it in your hair if you have dry hair (which I probably will not do as my hair is too fine and limp as it is).
This will fit well into my regime of skin care.
