It has worked more for hydrating the skin than for the firmness of the skin.

Pas tout à fait efficace pour la cellulite, mais odeur agréable. Ne laisse pas le peau grasse à l’utilisation.

I love the smell of this oil and how velvety and moisturized my legs are after applying it. I use the oil with my massager but you don’t have to. You can tell it’s a high quality oil by just looking at its texture. I usually do my little ritual before bed, and when I wake up my thighs still feel moisturized and velvety.

… which I hadn’t seen since living in Germany but had always used and liked their products whilst living there. The product is expensive, even on sale, but I love it. It always feels like a real treat to me to use after a shower, particularly on my arms and legs. To be honest, I don’t have much faith in the cellulite claim, I just love the way it feels and smells – as though I’ve had an aromatherapy session. It goes on smoothly and seems to seep into the skin and almost disappears, yet leaves your skin soft and silky feeling but never oily. I prefer it to any cream I’ve ever used on my skin (which tends to be very dry, particularly in the winter). The bottle is a little cumbersome and heavy and, as it’s made of glass, you have to be careful not drop it, but this is a product I plan to keep using – one of the products I use that is becoming one of my favourite things to ‘indulge’ in.

So far I like the consistency of this body oil. I use it on my abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. It’s a light citrusy smell and I massage into my target areas twice daily. Toning the skin is also an inside out endeavor so with my preexisting health habits I hope to see a slight change in the performance of this oil. Weleda is a high quality skincare line and this is obvious in the glass bottle packaging and pump. You can easily control how much oil you want to dispense. It feels therapeutic grade and it’s a definitely is worth the value being made in Germany.

I’ve been using this oil for less than a week and I already see a noticeable difference in the appearance of my thighs. It’s very subtle but pretty amazing for only 4 days. The smell is very pleasant and the texture is light. It isn’t too greasy and absorbs very well. I’m not sure how moisturizing it is but my thighs feel soft. It’s definitely worth the cost so far. I’m happy I tried it.

I ordered two types of cellulite products at the same time. The first one was aveno firming and toning gel. It did help but I wanted to give this one a try. I had used Birch Cellulite oil years ago but couldn’t remember why I stopped. First it smells great…a light citrus scent. They’ve added a pump which is great because glass bottle + oil = slippery. It did help reduce the appearance of the cellulite but in my opinion it didn’t moisturize very well. I’d walk around for a couple of hours like an oily mess and a couple more later my skin was no longer moisturized. In addition it didn’t seem to go very far…I had to use a lot because my skin was soaking it up like a sponge…it would sink in rather than spread around. i went through the whole bottle in 2 weeks which would make it very pricy. I started mixing it with a small amount of cetephil cream both to add more long term moisture and to make it go a little further. But of course I think that dilutes the strength so it may not be working as well as it could. I will continue to use it and rotate with the aveno which is cheaper and a little goes a lot further.
