All the ingredients are good, and the smell is nice. The ingredients list on the box is a little different than on the Amazon page, just an FYI. I included a photo of the box with my review. Since the main ingredient in this is shea butter, its consistency changes with its temperature. I received it on a cold day, and out of the box, it had more of a cream-oil consistency. After it sat at room temp for a while, it was liquid with tiny specks of shea butter. The shea butter specks don’t bother me, but to minimize those, just warm it up in the shower or bath, give it a shake, then it’s good to go.

Smells fabulous. Very natural. No chemical smell. Scent fades to lighter after awhile but still detectable. Great scent. Light oil. Not greasy.

I’ve used Shea Butter products for years and found them to be thick and gooey. This Body Oil is so much better. First, the smell. It is heaven in a bottle. Second: it’s easy to apply and soaks in quickly. Last Christmas I purchased some beautiful roll on bottles from Amazon (I’ll try to put the link here:) http://www.amazon.com/Pack-8-Roller-Glass-Bottles-Aromatherapy/dp/B015SFJRD2?ie=UTF8&keywords=roll%20on%20bottles&qid=1461964300&ref_=sr_1_16_a_it&sr=8-16 – I gifted my sisters with the bottle filled with the oil and they all loved it. I’ve actually had some requests for refills on the oil! My niece asked me for one of the bottles filled with the oil. She said for years she had tried everything on her face (she has red, dry patches) and this is the only thing that soothes and smooths her skin. So, from all us sisters (and one niece) thumbs up! PS – the beautiful bottles filled with this Out of Africa Body Oil would make great bridesmaids gifts.

This product has a warm Vanilla scent and I bought it to replace an organic vanilla oil I use during the winter. It came in a nice bottle and I am certain this oil will last some time even with heavy use. I have sensitive skin and I have not had any an allergic reaction. I also use this oil on the ends of my hair and my sons hair to seal in moisture.
NOTE: A little will go a long way. This product will become thick in a cool room, but once you warm it in your fingers it will become a skin softening liquid. Very nice product so I will purchase again.

I was looking for some vanilla oil that was skin-friendly and not harsh. This oil is luxurious. Great for massage use, but not too oily. The scent is nice and light (what I was looking for). I rub this around my neck and wrists. All over really. Will definitely order again!

I have purchased this same brand before and got the same but Vanilla Scented. It was great.
The product is fantastic and really keep your skin moist and hydrated, the only complaint I have is the scent, it really smells like Olive OIl. If you are OK with that then you wont be disappointed. I will be going back to the Shea Butter Vanilla Scented version

I bought this with the idea of using it as a massage oil for my wife and having just used it for that purpose for the first time, I can say it works wonderfully for that task. I bought the Vanilla scent, which smells delicious. This is a nice lubricant for giving a massage and my wife loved it. My wife frequently gets knots in her back and needs a firm massage to help loosen them up but not having the proper oil for that purpose makes it difficult to get a deep massage without irritating her skin. This is a great product and I am surprised it has not been rated as of yet. I usually buy something by reading the reviews so not having any for this product I took a chance. I am glad I did. Enjoy

This product is a miracle!! I had horribly itchy and ugly eczema on my lower leg for almost two years, from Dec 2014 to Oct 2016, until I found this product. I had been to multiple physicians and they had me try multiple drugs trying to heal the eczema with no relief. Finally I started researching natural ways to heal my leg and found this body oil. The first time I applied it to my leg the redness almost immediately went away as well as the itching! 😀 I yelled for my fiancé to come look at my leg and he was amazed too! Within 2 months my leg was completely back to normal and we are both still amazed. I have been using this every morning all over my body after my shower ever since & I still love it. The vanilla scent is amazing and although I was nervous about my skin feeling oily after application—it does not feel oily. Also, for me, with daily full body application, one bottle lasts me two months. Can’t beat the amazon price either as my local store charges $21. Amazing product that you will not regret!!
