There were high hopes for this product, especially because of the natural ingredients and for being dermatologically tested, only not on animals. Yes, Botanic Rain is a body oil that absorbs into the skin quickly and moisturizes it. Yes, it is unscented. One time I thought I caught a whiff of incense (jasmine oil, perhaps?), but any fragrance dissipated right away. It’s not greasy. The beautiful packaging also made me want to love the contents. Yet, it does not correct the crepey skin on my forearms at all, unlike the drugstore lotion I’ve started using since turning (ahem) a certain age. It’s not even like I have a tough elephant hide that requires major exfoliation to let the Botanic Rain body oil sink in and do its thing. I used it daily for a couple of weeks without achieving the results for crepey skin promised in the product header. I’ll finish the bottle, although just as a regular moisturizer.

First time using this oil, I was pleasantly surprised at the results. I have tough wrinkly skin, outdoor girl of 68 lol. I like that it’s unscented and although a bit oily to put on, it does last all day! It doesn’t help much with my crepey arms in bicep area, but helps a little. I will def buy this again.

This oil feels nice and doesn’t stay greasy. I use it on my arms and legs when I get out of the shower and it dries on my skin pretty quick. I have not noticed any transfer onto my clothing. I am very sensitive to strong scents, so I ordered unscented. I can smell it a little bit when I pour it from the bottle onto my hands, but the scent fades once applied. I like how it gives my skin lightweight moisture. My only complaint is the lid that’s on the bottle. It comes with a plug insert to keep the oil from spilling out I guess. But the plug was difficult for me to pop out. The snap top is terrible. It’s hard to flip up and back down and now after several uses, I can no longer get the flip top snapped back down. The oil is great, the packaging not so much, which is why I took off one star.
