I wasn’t sure what to expect with this product since the reviews are such a mixed bag, but I’m pleasantly surprised. It has the thickness of a lip gloss so it stays on your lips without running, but it’s the texture of an oil. If you can imagine a lip gloss with zero stickiness that literally slides across your lips, that’s what this is. There’s a light scent you can smell when applying, but not once it’s on your lips. It’s very comfortable to wear too with just the right amount of moisture to not be super heavy. I would recommend giving it a shot.

This lip oil by NYX is a multitasker. It is great for hydrating lips but also is good for a natural shiny lip without color. It looks good over matte lipsticks as well to shine them up and hydrate. The oil is tasteless and colorless but it leaves a lot of shine on my lips, It feels light and not waxy like stick balms, The oil doesn’t stay on my lips very long however. It looks great when first applied but, in about 30 minutes, all that is left is residue that isn’t shiny but still makes my lips very soft. The tube is also really small so I don’t get a ton of applications from it. Still, I will probably buy it again for all the uses I mentioned above since it is inexpensive.

Love this! Looks like a gloss but very moisturizing and not sticky at all. I got the sheer and the berry one and love them both. The berry isn’t too tinted. I actually used it also on my cheeks in a pinch when I needed some blush and it was great. Didn’t even look oily.

The sheer berry has much more of a tint than the others but is still sheer and pretty. Love this stuff. moisturizing, not sticky, not thick. Affordable. I bought three of them so I could keep them in multiple rooms

This is absolutely, hands-down, the best moisturizing makeup for lips I’ve EVER used. I have chronic dry skin, including my mouth, due to medical issues. This lip oil has been a life changer for me. No more peeling, painful lips. It lasts a few hours, like most lip balms, but it moisturizes on a deeper level than all the other balms, lip glosses and sticks I’ve ever tried. this is amazing, and I swear by lip oil now.

I purchased the #THISISEVERYTHING Lip Oil. When I first received it, I wore it as a stand-alone gloss and it was not for me. I let it sit for a few months. One day, I didn’t like a lip color I put one and decided to add this as a topper – and then the angels sang!!! I use this as a topper for my evening look. I typically get two or thee compliments. It gives my lips just enough glitter/sparkle to add a bit of pizzazz without looking over the top.

This lip oil is great! Glides on easily, leaves a pretty shine without the stickyness of a lip gloss. Keep it with you throughout the day for reapplications, but it doesn’t leave a residue when it wears away.
