I’m not sure exactly what is ACTUALLY in this, but it definitely isn’t rosemary, unless it’s just a very small amount of rosemary blended with other oils. It smells nothing like rosemary — it’s got more of a camphor/eucalyptus/menthol/tea tree sort of scent to it, which is family of scents that I personally cannot stand… whereas rosemary is one of my favorite scents ever. Super disappointed, especially since I just received some apricot kernel oil from the same company that I was happy with. That one seemed to be the real deal… but this one definitely is not.

This lavender essential oil smells like a good high quality, potent essential oil. It is on the higher end for price, but I love that this comes with a dropper lid. This smells so lovely, and doesn’t lose its scent when diluted. It’s perfect to add into body care, or for aromatherapy. The lid was easy to open, and there’s truly 10ml in the bottle

Rose is one of my favorite scents, and I was excited to be able to get this product to try out for the seller. It comes with a dropper that you can replace the cap with so you have the option of either having it with the cap that it comes with or removing that and putting the dropper in instead. It is essential oil after all so I removed the cap and put the dropper cap on instead. Interestingly, for me, when I was removing the plug that ensures that none of it leaks out of the bottle and the rose oil got on my skin, I wasn’t initially crazy about it. However once I put it in the diffuser and let the diffuser do its thing, and let it into the air, I absolutely love the smell. I had been using lavender in my diffuser, but now I’m going to stick with rose because it is such a pretty, soothing smell. Also it is of a strength that I only needed three or four drops in my diffuser for it to work in my entire bedroom. I slept really well and I really like this product.

I obtained Nykaa Naturals Lavender Essential Oil (0.33 oz) for free in exchange for my true and honest review based upon my experience. I was immediately concerned when I opened the Amazon shipping wrapper. I cannot in good faith recommend this product due to unsealed packaging. I’ve included several photos of the product and it’s packaging as received.
The biggest issue was the lack of proper seals. The plastic bag wasn’t sealed, the box had no tamper-evident seal, and (while hard to see) the screw-top lid’s seal was broken. Additionally, the label on the bottle was damaged, making it difficult to read important information.
Due to these factors, I felt uncomfortable using the product on or near my skin or even for aromatherapy purposes. There’s no way to know if the essential oil was tampered with or or had been used and returned by someone else.
Positive Aspect: Pleasant Fragrance and Included Dropper
It’s important to note that despite the packaging issues, the oil itself did have a pleasant and noticeable lavender scent when I opened the vial briefly for a photograph. I also appreciated that the dropper came as a separate component — suggesting a possible safety intention, that the bottle seal should have been intact, yet wasn’t.
Overall
While the lavender oil itself might be fine, the lack of proper safety seals is a major concern and the smudged, unreadable label is simply unacceptable. In today’s world, we expect personal care products to be securely packaged and properly labeled to ensure consumer safety. Unfortunately, this Nykaa Naturals product fell short in both regards. I’m disposing of the unused oil but will keep the dropper after sanitizing it.
As a final note, I did not contact the seller to communicate my concerns. I believe this safety issue is so grave and the omission so obvious it casts a cloud over the entire product/production line of essential oils. Therefore, I wouldn’t trust or accept a replacement offer at this time; first impressions and all. Now, I know there are some people that may not be as concerned about safety as I — that is why I generously gave the product three stars. What I briefly smelled, did smell of Lavender.

It’s a nice little vial that smells great (lavender always helps me get to sleep) and feels great on the skin. Didn’t use for the anti-dandruff benefits but appreciate what we got here. Strong – don’t need a lot to get the job done.

I love Lavender and use it often…more often than not, within my diffuser. This little 10ml bottle is smaller than oils I have purchased that were offered by other manufacturers, but this one seems to have a stronger scent, which translates into needing less. The fragrance (directly from the bottle), is not that of a harsh chemical or alcohol; merely one of pure Lavender. I am currently diffusing it, and it smells very nice; next time I will adjust the amount of drops for a lighter desired scent, as “less is more”, eith this particular oil.
I was pleasantly surprised to see both a manufacture date (Sept. 2021) and expiration date (August 2024), on the packaging, which in my opinion, shows that the manufacture Nykaa Naturals, has great pride in their products. The product arrived shrink-wrapped, nicely boxed, sealed and nested in molded plastic and was accompanied by a dropper, along with suggestions for use. (Do make sure that the glass part of the dropper is not lodged up into the rubber tip, as it will not pull in the oil or dispense it, if you don’t.)
All in all, this seems to be a quality essential oil at a fair price, considering its positive attributes.

This eucalyptus oil is lightly scented, which is nice because I don’t like overpowering scents. I use this to keep my powder room smelling fresh. The bottle of “Nykaa Naturals Essential Oil, Eucalyptus, 0.33 oz” came well packages so no leaks. Be gentle with the the squeeze dropper, the tube is made of glass which doesn’t seem particularly thin, but would break if it fell into a ceramic sink.

I immediately loved the scent when I opened it and I put it right in my diffuser. It lasted a long time and had a great natural effect, almost spa-like. Highly recommend!
