If you are low in Vitamin C, this supplement from Nutricost is a good option. I am not a fan of citrus fruits, and don’t eat enough of the right vegetables to meet my daily Vitamin C needs. I have used the orange fizzy powders before and was not a huge fan of the flavor. This one is unflavored, and mixed in with my green smoothie is undetectable to my taste buds. The fact that you get 250 servings in this container is awesome. Even my generic 30 day supply of orange fizzy powders pales in comparison.

This calcium ascorbate powder is made and tested in USA. The power contains calcium and vitamin C that are good for bone and immune system. Moreover, it has no additives, artificial flavors or preservatives added in. This power comes in a large container and attaches inside with a scoop. In fact, the total of 250g power only filled up about half of the container. I think it is a marketing strategy to catch the eyesight of customers in stores; more estimation of product volume by consumers; bigger printed words for easy read and big container opening for easy pick up with scoop.
It is suggested to take one gram or one scoop daily by mixing it with 6-10 ounces of water. As the power has no flavor, I may add the power in other drinks or even in food such as juice or oatmeal etc. Since this power is odorless and tasteless, it won’t affect the original taste of the drinks or foods that are added with this power.
This power can be dissolved quickly even in cold water. I like this power as a daily supplement, and it is convenient to take just one scoop daily for the benefit of health. Moreover, the 250g can serve my usage up to eight months.

The Nutricost Calcium Ascorbate jar has a safety seal around the top of the jar and lid area and another seal for freshness and safety around the very top of the jar after the lid is removed. Both seals were secure. The contents is a fine powder and has a pouch of moisture absorber in the jar so there was no clumping.
It comes with a 1 gram scoop that coincides with the suggested servings. The expiration date is 3 years from the date I received the product. The product label says manufactured in a GMP compliant facility and also says 3rd party tested. I’ve used other Nutricost supplements for years and have always found them to be of good quality.
Currently I’m using the Calcium Ascorbate 1 gram daily mixed with my collagen supplement in a small glass of water. The Calcium Ascorbate dissolves easily in the glass of water. It’s easy to drink and fairly tasteless.

The Calcium Ascorbate and Vitamin C is very nice to have. The Powder is within a very well sealed container that is resealable using the twist on blue top. The Container is not very big and stays in place where you put it like on a table. The Container is very strong. The many benefits of Calcium Ascorbate and Vitamin C are very well described within the product description. Also it is very nice that the Calcium Ascorbate and Vitamin C powder is loose and inside the container and it is nice to not be dealing with capsules or pills. The product is a definite Great Value for Money. I have no dislikes. The product works great and is beneficial for my health. Thank you

Hello friends, I selected this nutricost calcium powder for good health.
I haven’t tried this with water but I have thrown it into a smoothie. Every time I try calcium it’s always gritty. So I figured a smoothie was the way to go and it was. I like being able to get a little boost in calcium and vitamin C.
Truth Be Told –
no flavor so very versatile but not good by itself. Add with my other supplements to get a little boost.

I have used this to add to various drinks as well as fill a few hundred caplets and it works great for both of those cases.
I am not sure if it is intrinsic to the powder or whether there is an anti-caking agent involved but it flows very easily and there are no issues with either encapsulating it or measuring out smaller amounts easily.

It didn’t dissolve very well so It left my shake with chunks. It did however have absolutely no taste whatso ever so I can’t really complain because the chunks were tasteless lol. So, I will continue to use it for the health benefits and will possibly continue to purchase it when it’s all gone.
