So the labeling is a little misleading here: this is a mix of soluble (acacia/apple) and insoluble (psyllium) fiber. If you wanted the style of fiber that comes in a green-capped white container, not the stuff that comes in an orange-capped container, be aware of this. They should fix the labeling to say that it is a mixed type.
That said, this brand is better for me than the famous orange-capped brand because I don’t like the orange flavor in that brand. So if you want psyllium that isn’t orange-flavored, this is still a good pick.

This soluble fiber is a good tasting fruit flavor fiber mix that is easy to mix. It dissolves fairly well into the water or your choice of liquid. I enjoy taking it with water with one scoop.. It’s easy to swallow down as the taste is quite yummy. You can taste a little fibrous bits in the in the mix. I was always a fan of fruit mix drinks that have the pulp. Last time I tried this I don’t think I mixed well enough or I used much less water than normal but there was a nice little slurry that was reminiscent of applesauce at the bottom of the glass, which got slurped up happily. It was recommended that I get a little more fiber in my diet and I am happy that this is a great option that yields great benefits so far I’m very happy.

So yes, this does the job for me. I typically take this in the evening, after my last meal of the day, and I am properly regular the next morning. The berry flavor is fine, nothing to write home about, but it’s neither amazingly tasty nor off putting. I does kinda make it easier to chug it down. I find it mixes well with plain old tap water. Overall worth it – I would get this again.

For years I’ve been taking another psyllium husk powder, which tasted awful, but worked, so when I first tried this one, I was bracing myself for the expected unpleasant experience. Much to my surprise, this one went down so easy. It actually tasted and smelled good. The other one I used to take would become a goey gel within a few seconds, if I didn’t drink it fast enough. This one remained a liquid. I used a frother to mix it and drank it fast, so I don’t know if it would have done the same, had I taken my time drinking it.
It’s important to drink a lot of water immediately afterwards, so I followed it with another 12 oz of water (I initially mixed the scoop into about 4 oz of water).
This stuff works just as well as the gross one I was taking in the past. Plus this one also contains Apple Fiber Powder and Acacia Fiber Powder, both of which not only contribute to digestive health, but also help reduce cholesterol and mop up the junk from the digestive/intestinal tract.
I’m very happy with this product. The container says it has 30 servings, but it sure looks like there’s more than that in my container. The container came double sealed for purity and safety. The expiration date on it is May of 2027.

As a fiber supplement this does what it is supposed to do, and tastes better than some of the big name brands. Like most others thought once mixed it has to be consumed fairly quickly or it starts to gel somewhat. The flavor is much better than many others especially the “Orange” stuff. Unless the price drops considerably though I will likely not purchase more. At this time it is $19 for 30 servings while there are other options depending on how much daily fiber you need to add which offer up to 125 servings for only slightly more cost. This does offer more fiber per serving though so if you get no fiber at all in your diet this may be the better option even at the higher cost.

I was looking to add fiber to my diet, specifically in my morning routine. The flavor blends well in my smoothies, so I really don’t taste it much. I do feel fuller in the morning, and tend to have lunch late just because I’m not starving. If you’re looking for an easy way increase your fiber intake, this is a good option.

I wouldn’t say this is terrible, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend mixing it with water like the package says. I followed the instructions with 12oz of water, and it was grainy and had an odd texture no matter how much I mixed it. This is definitely better off mixed in a smoothie or something, it’s pretty hard to force down with just water!
The berry flavor is a little too light, it’s honestly more like a hint of berry rather than berry flavored. The other nutricost stuff I’ve tried tasted pretty good, so I’m a little disappointed that the flavor in this one isn’t that great. I honestly would have rated this a 4 instead of 3 if the flavor was better!

Nutricost Soluble Fiber (Berry Flavored) comes double sealed to prevent tampering and includes a measuring scoop. The powder mixes well using my personal blender and its surprisingly palatable when simply mixed with water. It has a light fruity flavor and the consistency is slightly heavy but satisfying. I would suggest drinking it rather quickly. Like most fiber supplements if it sits too long, the consistency thickens like a shake.
Overall, I like the quality of the ingredients. It has 3 sources of fiber, it’s naturally flavored, and can be easily added to fruit smoothies and juices. This fiber supplement was easy to incorporate into my diet. It effectively improved regularity while helping me stay fuller longer without causing any gastric upset.
