I take a good amount of supplements and this brand is one of my most trusted brands that I’ve been using for years so I was excited to try Nutricost Milk Thistle Supplement. It has a safety seal on the outside of the bottle and another inside. The Milk Thistle is manufactured in a GMP certified facility. Made and tested in the USA, which I always appreciate. Vegan and NON GMO. The capsules arrived in great shape and none were open. I’ve been taking them for about a week now, with No problems of indigestion etc.

I think it is important to learn as much as you can about a company and a supplement before taking it. There are a lot of bad supplements on the market that can be detrimental to your health. Nutricost is a well-known company that I have purchased many supplements from the in the past because they have earned my trust. They print their address, phone number, and website right on the label. Google Maps shows a huge manufacturing facility at that address with a Nutricost sign on the building. They have an extensive website with products as well as informative articles. They are active on all the social media platforms.
This milk thistle supplement is manufactured in the USA in a GMP-certified facility which is a must for me. Every batch is third-party lab tested in the USA. It is a Vegan product that is free of GMOs and gluten. I feel confident in trusting this Nutricost supplement, as well as other supplements produced by this brand.

I know my liver function is elevated, so wanted to give this a try. I developed constipation and then nausea, so I stopped taking it. Supposedly these symptoms can subside, but I gave it a week and that was enough for me.

Nutricost is a brand of supplement that I trust. I have taken several of their supplements over the years without issue. I take milk thistle because my liver numbers were a little elevated last time my blood was checked and I read that it’s good for the liver. I have no way of knowing whether this is helping, at least not until I get my blood checked again. But these capsules have caused me no ill effects. They’ve been third-party tested, they’re easy to take and cost effective. They’re worth a try.

Vine reviewers cannot make health claims so I am not able to discuss the potential benefits of Milk thistle here. This is a good product, it’s produced in a GMP certified facility which means it’s produced under safe and sanitary conditions. Not all brands have this certification so, if they don’t have it you have no idea what kind of production conditions they have. There are other brands that put out higher quality Milk thistle but this is fine for the price. I’ve been using this and it’s worked well.

I got this because I take Milk Thistle for the benefits it may possibly have for my liver. I put a lot of focus on my liver health and that started when I was younger and had a treatment with a health issue that was hard on my liver. I would like to think my efforts are paying off since all my liver test that I do periodically are always indicating extremely good health. My top three supplements I like for my liver are NAC, Schisandra extract and Milk Thistle. But with Milk Thistle I noticed I am always taking it in blends usually with Dandelion and Yellow Dock. And because of that sometimes there isn’t much Milk Thistle in it dosage wise. And the question remains how much Silymarin (the extract substance from the plant/seeds) is in it? That’s important imo because Silymarin is what is involved with modulating the liver enzymes possibly. This brand is stating that the Milk Thistle has been standardized to 80% of Silymarin Flavonoids which clears any questions imo in regards to wondering how much is in it. I’ve used Nutricost for many of my supplements and never had an issue with them. I like this product is offering just the Milk Thistle at a dosage that I think may be meaningful. It appears to be a good quality form of it imo. I like to change up my liver supplements every now and then and I think this will work fantastic for a different regimen to try. This brand states “rigorously third party tested” but I’m not sure if that’s the same as third party ‘lab’ testing. When I take Milk Thistle I never feel anything and just trust it’s doing what the studies indicate may be possible with it. I had no sides with these and they were easy to take. This is a clean, good quality supplement from a trusted US company, 3rd party tested, GMP compliant, and free from extra supplements. It’s just Milk Thistle. The pills are easy to take with no flavor or aftertaste. They seem to sit well with my stomach, I have no issues taking them. I bought them for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and so far I am happy with my purchase.
