I’ve been taking BioAstin for 3 weeks now and have noticed marked improvements in many areas. I take two capsules at lunch time (or with whatever meal has the highgest fat content *this is important as it is a fat soluable supplement*). It will take around 2 weeks before you really notice the benefits – so don’t get disappointed if you don’t see results right away – just be patient.
JOINTS: The first thing I noticed after about 10-12 days was a great improvement in joint & muscle pain and the ‘snap, crackle, pop’ sounds in the mornings. I run and work out at leat 5 days a week, so my joints take a beating – BioAstin is helping greatly in this area. I wake up feeling much more mobile and refreshed rather than stiff and achy after an intense workout.
SKIN: Like many others have noted, I also have seen a wonderful change in skin tone and color. I have a nice rosy glow to my skin as well as a more ‘dewy’ appearance. I have always had skin on the drier side of the spectrum and since taking BioAstin it seems more supple and nourished. I also have some freckles and sun spots which appear to blend into my skin more and are not so prominent. I have yet to test this products sunblocking abilities, but look forward to seeing what happens this summer.
ENERGY: I have a pretty thorough vitamin regimen consisting of about 10 supplements (it’s a lot, I know!). In this routine I take: Nature’s Bounty Sublingual Vitamin B-12 2500 Mcg with Cherry Flavor – 250 Microlozenges, Nature’s Way Alive! Multivitamin/Multimineral, Women’s Energy, Tablets, 50 ct., Vitamin E, Schiff Mega D3, 90-Count, Garlic, L-Lysine, NOW Foods Chlorella 1000mg, 120 Tablets, Feosol Ferrous Sulfate Iron Supplement Therapy, Tablets – 125 ea (Pack of 2) and sometimes I take Zinc when needed… and now BioAstin (I have a history of anemia and low B12/Vitamin D which is why I take what I do). I tell you all of this to say that I’ve already noticed a huge improvement in my energy level before taking BioAstin and I’m not sure I’ve seen any significant boost since taking it. I have, however, noticed that I have greater endurance in running and cardio exercise since taking this. For example, I don’t ever feel more ‘energized’ when I take this, but once I am doing something strenuous I feel i can continue for a longer period of time. I believe this is all relative to your body’s make-up and what you’re currently putting in.
MOOD: I have felt an over-all feeling of relaxation and find myself more often than not to be in good spirits. Maybe this is a placebo effect? Whatever it is, it’s a good thing and I’m happy to chalk it up to BioAstin.
I look forward to seeing what benefits continue to come from long-term use of this supplement. All in all I am extremely satisfied and will continue to use this as part of my daily routine.

Great Product that for me has produced noticeable beneficial results, less joint pain, faster workout recovery, overall slight energy pickup, (I’m 68 and take many other antioxidants/nutrients etc). The Big difference for me is that the Price has been Greatly Reduced. Knew about this product for years, but was simply too high priced. Now I buy it for others, including our priest, and am recommending it highly to friends/relatives. Also, I’ve been able to cut back the amounts of other supplements I take, (less glucosamine & chondroitin/knees) so I am actually not spending more money by adding this. I like the added benefit support for the cardiovascular system, brain and visual support as I do a lot of reading/computer work ( I also take lutein). The fact that BioAstin’s Astaxanthin is also a pro-oxidant which causes possibly less free radical damage and for me helps reduce inflammation more than most other regular antioxidants is a big plus. I still take my grape seed extract, vit. c, pomegranate & turmeric, but I just don’t need as much, which helps the budget. I’m 68, but most people think I’m at least ten years younger so for me the noticeable skin softening, firming and the slowly fading of brown spots is a plus. Note: wish they made it also in 8 mg size. I take 12 mg and my wife 8 mg daily. Note, Important: In my case, I am glad that we started off taking 4 mg daily for the first 5 days, with at least 6-8 glasses of water daily, and then gradually increased by 4 mg every 5 days, until our desired dosage reached, as IMO, it is important to help avoid the Herxheimer effect (where your body can detoxify to quickly) by taking too much too soon. I gave the astaxanthin time to work and after a couple of weeks (or sooner) I began to notice the health benefits and added zest. I suspect, IMO, that possibly a few of the negative reviews may have been because too large of a dosage may have been taken initially and without enough daily water?, but each person is different so proceed accordingly and under your doctor’s guidance and approval. ( I have to say that)

Legit, sourced from the Big Island. The 4mg soft gels are exactly the same size as the 12mg, but if you prefer a smaller dose or divided doses, then 4mg is for you.
