I’ve been taking rhodiola for a dozen years. I originally started taking it for energy. I suffered from interstitial cystitis and the constant going to the bathroom all day and all night long left me exhausted. A friend with cancer recommended it to me, to help me with my exhaustion. The first day I took it, however, there was a side effect: the IC eased up. Within a week I was virtually symptom free. I canceled the next appointment with my urologist to have my bladder scraped and lubed. I haven’t needed a urologist since then! This is why I am on a constant regimen of rhodiola. The energy and adrenal support I enjoy from it are a bonus, but it gave me back my life after suffering from IC so long.

This seemed like a fairly good quality product, value for money. I’m not clear on the meaning of 12:1 or 4800mg they’ve mentioned in product description. It would help if they could indicate clearly – in terms of percentage, like many other reputed companies do.

I have been taking these every morning for roughly two weeks with no notable changes, I don’t feel any better, maybe a little worse and sluggish. They have no taste and are easy to swallow with my morning cup of coffee. I will continue for another week or two, and then throw away if still no change in mood, clarity, and feeling sluggish.. and find a new brand to try. I wasn’t hoping for a magic pill was just looking to add something that was requested to try

I’m very excited about the results I’m seeing since beginning to use this product. I started giving this to my daughter whom was diagnosed with ADD as an alternative to prescription medication. At first I wasn’t sure if I would see results but within a week of using it I could tell that something was happening with her! She tends to be very shy and has social anxiety. School has been a big struggle and all her teachers bwere concerned because she had no grades because she would just sit there and act like she was doing the work but then there was nothing on the paper. I had and IEP meeting earlier than normal this year because they were so concerned at her lack of progress. I felt desperate and heartbroken about the situation and after doing some research and also finding out more about ADD, I decided to give it a try. First, I started noticing that she was more intentional and direct with her conversations which was a huge change! One day she came home and told her Dad about some homework she had to do making flash cards for a test, usually I have to help her with most everything. When I woke up the next morning, I saw the flash cards all done on her desk! I was in shocked! Almost a week and a half later I had a teacher conference and before I could even get to asking each teacher had they noticed any changes with her, they would begin with excited voices about how they saw she was talking more and participating in class more. I had 4 different staff and teacher’s stop and tell me about experiences and situations they noticed about her that was different than they had ever experienced with her! These people have known her for years because she has attended school there from 1st to 6th grade! Her mood and her attitude has changed but almost seamlessly! I told everyone what I was using and last week an administrator camed running to tell me how they all went out and bought this product and it works! My only disappointment is that they have no more in stock and I plan to make this a regular part of her supplements. Please get more of this product! I have tried many supplements related to lucid dreaming and dream recall. I continue to spend a lot of money on many different supplements related to brain health. If I had to pick just one, it would be this one. It helps my dream recall significantly. I can notice the difference if I skip it only one night. I take one pill every night before bed. I find no need to cycle it. I have found no benefit to taking more than one. It doesn’t affect my sleep in any way I notice (I feel rested). No side effects. I have no idea how it works, but it does work.

I gave it one star for flavor; I don’t eat this; it is a capsule. It does help with blood pressure. Take as directed on the bottle AND TELL YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU ARE TAKING ANY BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS. YOU DO NOT want to run the risk of a dangerous drop in BP, nor do you want there to be any interactions.
