This is a very fine powder, but works great if you want to add fiber in your diet. I used it to add to yogurt along with fruit. I also used them to make no bake protein fiber bars. Taste is fine, no complain.

Not a fan of the smell, but ymmv. other than that I’ve used it and didnt experience anything unpleasant, I think if I can compare it to others and if they smell similar then I will have less reservations. 5 stars cause I gotta give the benefit of the doubt when my only objection could easily be a “me” thing

I ordered this product with the intent of using it as a base crust for a healthy and high-protein cheesecake. It did not disappoint.
The consistency is a bit grainier than a graham cracker crust, but for a total of only 15 calories for an entire crust, it’s unbeatable (pictured are minis, so the calories are around 2 cals for the crust for each mini)
Overall, you can definitely use this as a source of fiber by throwing it in shakes, or even baking it to make a mock graham cracker/crust. It’s a good, and cheap product that will last a while.
Recipe for crust/Graham crackers:
-25g Oat Fiber
-30g Erythritol
-15g sugar free syrup
-1/2 tsp Cinnamon
-Pinch of salt
-30g water
Add all the dry ingredients, then syrup, and slowly add water in increments of 10g and mix between increments. The end product should be a cookie dough-like consistency.
Bake at 300 F (150 C) for around 50 minutes.

I use oat fiber for keto baking (bread, pasta, etc.) I have been making baked goods with lifesource oat fiber which I had been able to get locally. With all the shortages at the grocery stores (pandemic), I have been unable to buy my usual brand. I ordered this thinking all oat fiber were the same. NOT! When I opened the package I was hit with a strange almost chemical smell. It was not as finely milled as my usual brand and it was a off white almost yellow color. I went ahead and made my keto pasta……OMG……it was awful. Rubbery texture and the taste was just like the smell……a weird chemical taste. Then I made bread. Everything exactly as I have been making for 2 years – guess what it was inedible. Didnt rise hardly at all and tasted awful. I broke it into pieces to give to my chickens and they wouldn’t eat it either. Super disappointment. I would not recommend this!

Oat fiber is good for adding crumble and fiber to baked goods, but it doesn’t add much “structure” to food, most things I bake with high oat fiber will end poorly. Oat flour is better, I recommend only adding a bit of oat fiber.
It doesn’t add much for flavor, tastes kind of chalky which I actually like, in a weird way. But it’s pure fiber, so I wouldn’t expect it to taste good by itself.
Good deal, it’s oat fiber, and a nice product if you know what you’re doing and got a good recipe using it. If you don’t, baking with it can easily end badly, so I’m marking it 4 stars overall, because ease of use is lower.
