The cream works well, but there’s just not much of it. I used it for a knee tattoo and it stayed numb for the whole thing (3 hours). I would recommend going about an inch further than what you think you should with the cream.

Numb master now you know this is highway robbery.. I just bought a second bottle and it is insanely smaller than the first . Idk what happened to the big ones but you need to bring them back !!

I have been on an IVF journey, and today I had to do my first injection to the hip. It is a thick oil and a large and long needle, so obviously I have had high anxiety leading up to this moment. I researched this particular injection online to see side effects, and the stories made my anxiety worse. So I took the advice of these ladies and purchased a topical numbing agent. I could not find the one they suggested, so I tried this. I had ZERO pain after waiting the 20 minutes after applying a thick layer, and then injecting myself!!! I can’t even believe it!!! I did not feel the needle, I did not feel the oil. It has been about an hour since i did this, and it is a teeny tiny bit sore which is expected with a thick fluid but still I barely feel it. If you’re looking at this product for tattooing- works GREAT! Hear me out. I ordered this for a tattoo and then never went through with using it- some artists don’t like clients to use it and I felt awkward about asking. I found an artist I was going to repeatedly and mentioned it to them- they gave me the clear to try it the next time I came in. Here’s the thing, by this time, the cream was TWO YEARS EXPIRED. But, I already had it and figured I’d use it up- I’d been getting tattooed forever without it so if it didn’t work, whatever. I planned on following the suggestions: rub in thin layer, coat with a thick layer, wrap super tight with plastic wrap, leave on for 2+ hrs prior. When the day came, I got behind and rushed through application and was only able to let it set for maybe 45 minutes. I was getting around my knee tattooed and to no surprise, it didn’t work. Stay with me. A few weeks later, I was getting more work done on the same knee tattoo. This time, I was going to give it another go and make an effort to follow through if h properly. Two hours prior, I rubbed in a good amount then covered the area with a THICK layer. Then using plastic wrap, I wrapped it VERY tight. Took it off at the shop right before the stencil was applied. Now, seeing as I had the same area tattooed, I knew what to expect. Let me tell you, I COULD NOT FEEL A THING! Tattoo took a little over an hour and it stayed numb the entire time. I have tons of tattoos, and I wish I would have used this YEARS ago! I will ALWAYS make an attempt to use this and numb the area. Game changer!! Buy it! Worked wonders even after being expired!

I have avoided going to the doctors for years to prevent having to get blood work. I have thrown up before and nearly passed out many times from my fear. I have had such bad anxiety that anything related to the doctors made me dizzy and avoid them at all costs, even if I was sick. I am the most needlephobic person you would probably ever meet. So in a desperate attempt of finding a way not to have horrible reactions to the test, googling for literal days how to ‘not throw up’ or ‘pass out’, I tested out this cream the night before my apt. I was cautious because I read online how it wouldn’t work because they would have to use a alcohol wipe before injecting you. But I have found that that is simply not true.
Here’s what I did:
For my inner elbows I put on about 1 tablespooon on each arm (in case they had to use the other arm) and rubbed it in. I then put saran wrap around it somewhat tightly. I then waited for at least an hour. I gooped some more on, let it absorb, and headed to my blood work appointment. I sat in the chair, and I practiced my guided breathing with headphones in (breathing in, holding for a few seconds, then releasing slowly), and it was over within 40 seconds. It honestly felt like 2 seconds. When I tell you I didn’t feel anything, I mean I didn’t even know it happened. There were no sensations AT ALL. I was expecting to feel a pinch or a tug and it never came. I felt a tube laying next to my wrist (no cream was put there) and that was IT. The entire injection site was successfully numbed for about 2 hours before it slowly wore off. I asked the lady twice whether she did it and she said yes because I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t even feel anything in my veins. I am blown away at how simple this solution is for how huge of an issue blood work has been for me. It is a little expensive for the size, but if you are just getting an IV or blood work it is a decent amount to use at least 3 times. I will use this product everytime, this has been life changing. I’m writing this right after I got blood work done and I am not dizzy or woozy. For someone who hates needles, this is a big day for me. Don’t think of this product as a crutch, think of it as a way to alleviate any suffering you have to go through when you’re already scared. I truly think that the anxiety comes from not the pain of blood work but the slight sensation of knowing a needle is inside of you. When you eliminate that sensation, it prevents your brain from having to react at all. Seriously, buy this.
