These are not enough protection when your milk first comes in, or for overnight when your baby starts sleeping longer/ through the night. Get the thicker pads for that or you’ll wake up soaked. But these do a fine job during the day when baby is nursing regularly (and, I presume, for nighttime if your baby still wakes up every few hours). They are reasonably discreet under clothes. You can still see the outlines of them under a regular t-shirt, but they’re definitely less bulky than every other pad I tried. And they’re soft– no weird itchiness or nipple chafing (hooray!) I had a hard time finding these in stores. I found one Target that had them, but Amazon’s price was better. I wasn’t sure how many to get at first, so I bought 6 boxes. Just for reference: from about 5 weeks- 3.5 months I went through about 6 of these pads a day (and a pair of the thicker ones at night). Then from 3.5-5 months I’ve used one pair a day (and thicker ones at night)… sometimes 2 pairs if I just felt like a fresh pair after a shower or a feeding.

I was hoping these would go unnoticed under a thin tshirt but not the case. I will still use these when outside for a short period of time or running errands but not for when you want to go to a special event and wear something nice. A little rougher on the skin than other brands.

PROS: thin and not bulky, breath easy, convenient (not individually wrapped), large coverage, pretty discreet
CONS: not for moderate or heavy leaking, not for packing into a bag (because they are not wrapped)
These are great thin nursing pads to use after your milk supply has been established. I don’t really leak too much during the day and I hate the way some of the bulkier disposable or cotton nursing pads feel. These are also fairly discreet unless you’re wearing a close fitting knit top and no padded bra, in which case you’ll be able to see the outline. I have fairly large breasts and these cover most of the area which makes me feel a lot more secure in case it shifts slightly in my bra. I never use the sticky pads on other brands anyway so the fact that these do not have them does not bother me. The fact that they are not individually wrapped is a pro and a con for me. I like to keep some of the individually wrapped on hand to keep in my purse or diaper bag but I hate having to unwrap those dang things all the time.

This product is the only one of it’s kind that I was looking for that checked the boxes.
When I first started breastfeeding, I was using the the reusable cotton/bamboo pads and found them to be bulky and THEY STAYED DAMP ALL DAY. Gross!! These Nuk pads are thin enough that I don’t have that issue for whatever reason.
I also don’t love the adhesives other pads on the market have, as I just like to throw the pads in my bra really quickly in the mornings and be able to take them out when I need to, like when breastfeeding. I just don’t take the adhesive off on these pads and they essentially work as if they didn’t have adhesive in the first place.
The only thing I don’t love about these pads is that you can see them through my shirt if my bra isn’t thick enough, like if I am using a sports bra. Other than that, would highly recommend. I have reordered the box like 4 times.

You know what, these are a huge savings and a great product. No, they’re not individually wrapped in wasteful plastic, not thick pillowy cushions, but they are still comfortable and absorb milk for a mere fraction of the price. Someone said they feel like cardboard, no they don’t. I will never buy anything else. These are also larger than the popular name brand.

I love the pads there nice and soft and very confey easy to put in your bra and keeps u dry. The nice and thin of the nursing pads make it nice and the fact you don’t sweat to much and keep dry. It keeps milk away from the skin and let’s air flow threw them. There made in the usa and there not to expensive got to love the price. I love the fact that when you buy this tipe it help the national breast cancer Foundation. There is no stickers so make sure there laying flate when using them I have used other brands and so fare this brand is my favrit and price is right. If u are some one that have heaver flow of milk you might need thicker ones or u will be away from baby to long because they are thin but as a stay at home mom is perfect. It keeps the smell of the milk off u and everyone will not smell it ether. If u go on long trips or going be away from baby make sure you use 2 because one isn’t plenty. I would really keep using the nuk pads.

When I say this thing can hold some milk. It’s amazing for at night especially because my baby doesn’t always want to eat at night and my boobs leak so much at night and this catches it and then some. I’m very happy with this purchase

These are perfectly functional – they absorb enough milk to get me through the day (or night) and are thin. However, even though they are thin, they still show awfully under clothing because they do not contour nicely to the breast. Lanoish disposable nursing pads are better.

I don’t know why these have good reviews. They aren’t absorbent at all. Every night I’d have to change my bra. The only thing these pads did was disperse the milk to the outer layers of my bra instead of soaking the middle like it would if I didn’t wear them. They are also so rough and scratchy! When my LO started cluster feeding and my nips got super sensitive I couldn’t even wear these, They were so uncomfortable.
You’re better off going with the Lansinoh stay dry pads. They are nice and soft and they absorb so much milk! The Lansinoh ones may be a little thicker but so worth it considering my bras stay dry and my nipples aren’t getting sandpapered off.
