The NOW solutions organic castor oil met all my expectations. It’s very thick, has a slight funky castor oil smell, but not bad at all. Already a fan of many of this brands products, I feel good buying and using products I am familiar with.

i have used castor oil to help heal from plantar fasciitis and needed to replace my bottle. the bottle is dark colored so that products the oil inside.

This is a great item to have on hand for a lot of different purposes. This is my first time owning this oil and I have to say it’s extremely thick for those who don’t know.

Unfortunately, I didn’t really get much a chance to evaluate this, because it was pretty much empty when it arrived because it shattered. It was probably shattered during shipping, but it does suggest the container is not very strong. The glass did look pretty thin.

Castor oil has so many great uses in regard to skin and hair care. I really like that this product is certified organic and made in the US by a well known company. The bottle is extremely large and the price is extremely reasonable. No complaints whatsoever about this product, it is exactly what I was looking for.

The oil is thick. The consistency is similar to honey. It applies smoothly and makes skin feel soft and nourished. A small amount goes along way. To me the oil is odorless it doesn’t really have a smell. And moisturizes the skin well and last throughout the day. I applied a small amount to my scalp. I noticed my scalp felt really well. It did not itch or caused irritation. Overall, seems to work well.

I love that this oil is quite thick but it absorbs into your skin very quickly, so you don’t have to deal with greasy skin as you start your day. I’ve heard so many good things about castor oil for your hair, skin, and nails so I was excited to try this oil when it came up on Amazon. I received a nice big brown glass jar of castor oil that I know will last a long time. It was packaged well for shipping and arrived with its safety seal intact. The oil is thicker than the other oils that I have (amla and argan) and it feels really nice on my very very dry skin. In just one day my feet feel completely different. They are soft and not at all ashy at the end of the day. I also used it on my lips. I’m having an lergic reaction to a new toothpaste that I didn’t realize had tea tree oil in it and literally one day of castor oil has already made my lips so much better. I’m excited to continue using this castor oil on my skin. It leaves me feeling soft and silky in a way that neither my regular lotion or even my extra thick ceraVe does.

This is a huge bottle of castor oil, a good amount if you are someone who does castor oil packs, but probably too much for someone just using a little for skin and hair. This is a very thick oil, and a little goes a long way. I appreciate the fact that it is organic, and the nice dark glass bottle.
