Not sure if powdered aloe is a prebiotic, but I like that this product is shelf stable.

I have always used NOW products, so when I started looking for aloe and probiotics I was pleasantly surprised to find them all in one model! At the time, I was suffering from chronic urinary tract infections that had plagued me throughout pregnancy and for months afterwards. Though I have always been susceptible to them, during this period the infections were getting so bad that they were starting to affect my kidneys as well. None of the antibiotics (oral, intramuscular injection and IV…and combinations of them as well) ever completely knock it out, but rather just knock it down for a while before it flared up terribly again. I felt I was at risk for becoming resistant to most anything they had to treat a UTI. I started looking to more natural treatments to pick up where the antibiotics left off and see if I could keep them from continually starting back up on my own. I’m thrilled to say this combined with a couple of other supplements (pumpkinseed oil, Oregon oil to name a few) have made an incredible difference. There’s no denying the helpfulness and effectiveness of this supplement and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. If you need to take either Aloe or Probiotics, I would strongly suggest taking this supplement and taking both the same time because they are very complementary and give you a much improved effect.

helps with my hemorrhoids a lot because it does not hurt after I have taken these. But when I don’t then my hemorrhoids get bad ;( but it depends on your diet too and if you’re hydrated enough. I believe it makes things go smoother, therefore it heals your down there..not to be too vulgar ..??

It’s a good variety and one that most people seem to be deprived of through research. It helps you to go to the bathroom more regularly.
