….L-Arginine is and has been a “staple” supplement for me.
I’ve been taking it for longer than I can remember.
Way before the days of “Turkesterone” and the various strength and blood flow supplements that are out now.
These are described as “double strength” but really, that’s kind of relative.
One brand I use, that look exactly like these appearance/size wise, are the same dosage, but NOT described as “double strength”.
A side note, I average 1800mg of L-Arginine per day, spaced out with meals.
These are a fairly large solid white caplet.
I take many supplements, but I find these to be just too big to easily swallow.
The bottle includes the words “vegetarian coating”, so there is a “help you swallow this thing” coating.
It’s not like these are swallowing chalk or anything, but I think they could have been a bit more generous with that coating; can’t help but compare to my other brand which is (more generous with the easy swallow coating).
The bottle comes filled 2/3’s full with no obnoxious wads of cotton.
60 caplets; their “serving size” is one per day; for me, this is a 30 day supply, maybe 60 for you.
As I said, I’ve been taking L-Arginine for so long, many brands and frankly I don’t notice a difference between brands.
Compared to my non Amazon source for L-Arginine, (when I don’t receive as a Vine reviewer) an online supplement source, these are priced a bit on the high side.
These appear to be a quality product; based on that perception, I’m giving these a 4 star rating.

These supplements have seemingly helped with my overall performance. I feel like I was able to push myself farther in my workouts and run. The pills are large and not the easiest to swallow. The NOW brand has always provided good quality supplements and this one is no different.

1 bottle, 60 ct, 1250 mg tablets of L-Arginine HCL, yielding 1000 mg L-Arginine
I received exactly what was claimed in the product description as to quantity (1 bottle), material (L-Arginine), and type/size (60 count 1000 mg tablets). The product label is “Now Sports”, and the manufacturer is claimed to be NOW FOODS out of Illinois, made and tested in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. It arrived in a plastic outer wrap over a sealed plastic bottle. The bottle cap has a tamper-proof lid that requires you to peel back and remove a circumferential strip, and under the lid and over the top of the bottle is a seal that you have to remove. The bottle claims the product is Vegan, non-GMO, and steroid tested. (Other typical disclaimers are documented on the bottle – see the product description images.)
These pills are not gel capsules, they are compressed tablets, weighing a total of 1820 mg each (including the other notionally secondary ingredients, see the product description ingredient list). Being a compressed tablet, and having been shipped, there is a slight amount of product dust from shipping (normal), and swallowing one, while not difficult for me, works best with a wet throat. (My wife would call these, jokingly, “horse” pills – she would probably have to cut them in two to take them, but I had no issue, and unlike a capsule, at least you can cut them two if needed.) The tablet size is 0.883 inch by .38 inch by 0.375, and is roughly oval from the top view, and a rounded rectangle from the size view. There is no product ID coding on the tablet. The product description image implies that each tablet is scored for breaking into two piece, but the tablets I received are not scored.
I do take this product type regularly, but I am no expert in the supplements field. However it is not difficult to find nearly equivalent products (as far as chemistry and size) that seem (to my mind) to be substantially more price competitive, and if there is a significant downside to those competitors (I’m talking about products with good heritage), any issues with them have yet to be revealed to me. I’m going to take a star off for questionable value, for now; if I learn any new information I will re-assess at that time. But if a tablet form is ideal for you, rather than a capsule, that might be enough of a reason to justify these.

I have been using Now Sports products for over 2 decades. They are high quality and reliable for standardized content. L-arginene is one of several supplements that I use to enhance my workouts.

I use this product for increased blood flow during workouts. The main difference I see while using these is increased vascularity and pump while working out. I would think this means better blood flow to the muscles. When you begin taking L-arginine it will take about two weeks before you feel and see any results. These tablets are large, so drink plenty of water to make swallowing them easier. I only take one tablet daily preferably 30-45 minutes pre-workout on an empty stomach. The bottle contains 60 tablets and will last one month if taken as directed. If you take only one tablet like I do it will last two months. This is not a bad deal for 1000 mg strength tablets.

High blood pressure and heart disease runs in my family so I try and do everything I can to try and mitigate my odds of having these issues in my adult life. Both of my parents were taking blood pressure medication by the time they were in their 40’s and I was heading in the same direction. I started exercising, taking fish oil and L’Arginine several years ago and I’m happy to say that I’m now in my 50’s and have a fairly clean bill of health in regards to my heart. I know it would be hard to prove that anything in particular that I’m doing is helping but I feel like taking this supplement is part of what has helped me and I’ll continue to do it.
