I tried this product to see if I was tolerant of the Pea protein powder by itself. I seem to be disgusting it well, with little issue. However, the powder doesn’t seem to mix easily. It tends to lump up and remain gritty, no matter what medium I choose to mix it with, though HOt liquid will help.
The taste is not bad, but does have a slight aftertaste, similar to a fake sweetener.
It is okay by itself, but not so much with other things.
I have not tried it with any fruit, thickener, or dairy product, only nut and oats milks.
It could be very, if it was.

This pea protein is great for my husband who is lactose intolerant and cannot use whey. It tastes great! It dissolves easily and does not have a powdery feel/taste. We use it in our breakfast smoothies and as a pre or post workout supplement.

I have been plant based for a few years now, and this is one of the best pea protein powders. Great taste and quality. Good for smoothies. Doesn’t foam up like whey protein. My only complaint is that the powder is super dusty and can make a mess when you are getting it out of the container.

As a user and experimenter of many different types of protein powders, I have to say, this one is unique. Like the other reviewer mentioned, this is indeed a lot like flour consistency out of the jug. It will get all over your hands and counter top just trying to get the scooper out. But that’s where the negatives stop.
The taste is very good, and it mixes well. Read the product description. It has everything you want in a good protein powder including non GMO ingredients and no milk and no soy.
Mix this with a few packs of instant fat free/sugar free vanilla pudding and a cup or so of almond milk. Throw in some dark chocolate morsels and you have got one HECK of a healthy snack that tastes just like cookie dough.
A few caveats:
1) higher in sodium than usual protein powders
2) take this fwiw, but just came across a research article that stated that extra protein is very healthy up to about age 40. People between 40-60 should avoid too much extra protein and those over 60 should increase protein consumption. Don’t have a link so research on own.
3) it contains a bit of xylitol so if your stomach is sensitive to that additive, be careful. It’s not that much, but could irritate sensitive people.
The good news is that pea protein is most likely way healthier than whey (cow) and DEFINITELY healthier than soy

The most awful taste I’ve ever had in a protein shake. Left a weird feeling in my moth after trying it twice. Save your money, you can’t return or get a refund.

Purchased because it was rated the best in quality, with an accurate ingredients list and the fewest contaminants. Still tastes pretty bad, texture is chalky, and the toffee is not a good mask. Mixes well, will consider other flavors.

I’ve had a lot of different protein flavors and types over the years but this one takes the cake for most disgusting texture and flavor. I actually thought it wasn’t so bad at first but then it slowly started to sink in. Despair overcame me as I rushed looking for anything to drink. Thankfully, I had poured a glass of milk earlier but even that wasn’t enough to remove the taste and after taste. I will try again later but I’m not sure I can stomach it. I might just go back to their egg white protein, which was much easier on the palate.
