Recent clinical trials have shown an improvement in memory with daily intake of inulin and fructooligosaccharides. It’s too soon for me to know how well it is working, but I’m all in. There are other benefits as well that you can find online.

I bought this about 6 months ago, but the expiration date is still over a year away. I just went to use it (I haven’t been religious about taking it, obviously) and the entire thing has turned into a solid mass! The teaspoon I put in the bottle is now a part of it and I can’t get it out… and (ironically) the gel pack that’s supposed to keep it from absorbing moisture is also embedded in it. It’s REALLY solid! I live in So. California, so it doesn’t get very humid here… How quickly this would have happened if we had high humidity?
I just looked through the other reviews and only one person said this is an issue. They said to take it out of the bottle and repackage it in something more moisture proof. Guess I need to order another if I want to use it.

I have not only irritable bowel syndrome but I now have ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s. Regularity has always been a problem. Having discovered FOS I am thrilled. 1/2 to a level teaspoon mixed in a small amount of water approximately a few ounces taken at night along with some magnesium and slippery elm helps immensely. I noticed quite a bit of difference when I forget to take it at night or even in the daytime. Now I won’t be without it!!

I’ve been taking this for about a month now two teaspoons in the morning and it seems to have made me more regular, it’s not a Magic Bullet, it hasn’t solved all my problems, but it works pretty well. I also was wondering what it was made from and I asked a question on here but no one seemed to know, so I called NOW customer service and found out that this is made from sugarcane. So now we don’t need to worry if it’s made from corn or anything along those lines.
