Great product for a great price! I have bought this stuff multiple times now and it works great work preventing colds & flus. October – March my kids and I take tsp daily has a preventative measure and much more if we feel a cold coming on. 2 year using this and so far so good! Oh my kids are age 4 and 7 🙂

Initially I was hesitant to take elderberry because I encountered conflicting info suggesting that it might induce cytokine activity and might not work for covid-19. But When I read that it blocks viruses from attaching to ACE 2 receptors, I decided to order some and use it anyway. It is always my go to remedy when I feel illness coming on. A few weeks ago I thought I might have mild covid 19 symptoms. I had increased sputum production, the beginnings of a dry cough and it really felt like maybe I was getting sick. I had already been taking golden seal and 3 drops of gse internally, vitamin d, vitamin b complex. As soon as this stuff came in the mail I starting dosing myself with it, taking a tbsp every 3-4 hours. Within a day or two of taking specifically the elderberry liquid, the extra mucus production stopped and I had no more malaise. I socially isolated for about a week to make sure and yup, no illness. Its been about two weeks now, I’m still dosing myself with this stuff like 2 tbsps a day on days when I go out in public. I believe it is saving my life.

Since learning of the benefits of elderberry, I have made it a habit to take this during cold/flu season. The first time I tried it (in conjunction with Echinacea/Goldenseal), I had been suffering from flu-like symptoms. I went to urgent care and got a script of antibiotics. I am opposed to taking prescription drugs, unless absolutely necessary. Before taking the antibiotics, I decided to try the elderberry/echinacea/goldenseal combo and literally the next day, I felt better. This product from Now is an amazingly high quality offering at a very good price. It has proven just as effective as another more expensive brand.

Taking elderberry for lung inflammation. Tried other products but they have so many additives. Most of all, check and compare the SUGAR content of thse products. This is the purer stuff. It isn’t necessarily the tastiest, precisely because it avoids additives and sugar. Diluting it with a little of the juice that works with it )to your taste) and adding something like Truvia solves the problem. The others seem like prepared flavored drinks, and are not as powerful in their effects, at least for the others I have tried.

I love Now brand – great product at a great price. Taste is sweet enough not to be irritating – I use this straight when I feel a cold or flu coming on. It could even be added to smoothies if you wanted.

I always catch what is going around at work. Started feeling like I was coming down with something. The usual symptoms, itchy throat and slight chills. Someone told me about elderberry syrup, how it can help with immunity. A lady I know gets a kit and makes it herself. I’m to busy for that. So I did tons of research and settled on the Now brand. Straight up the taste does not bother me, however it is really tangy and bothered my throat, I have chronic acid reflux so my throat is sensitive. So I took 3 tsps and mixed it in my water bottle, makes the water taste yummy and the water helps take the sting out of it. It could be coincidence, but I swear the next day I was feeling a bit better.

I use a different brand of elderberry syrup that is more expensive. Elderberry syrup got me through the entire winter without catching a single cold or flu and I did not take the flu shot either. I bought this more expensive brand for my mother this winter to protect her from flu as she is in her seventies, did not get a flu shot and was having problems with vertigo and stuffy sinuses at the time. I told her that elderberry syrup had cleared up my vertigo and I want her to try it. But then, she and my dad begin dumping it into their morning smoothies and zipping right through it even after I explained that it is sort of pricey! That’s when I stumbled across the elderberry liquid. I was looking for a less expensive version that offered all the same benefits. Well, fast forward to almost June of this year and neither my mom or dad have had the flu or a single sniffle all year long and usually my mom gets at least one sinus infection or cold every year even with taking the flu shot. So I was really concerned that when she decided not to take the flu shot that she was going to get really sick. This is good stuff! When I run out of my pricier brand, I may try this for myself. I am on my second reorder for them.

Overall, I really like this syrup. A few times, we’ve started to get sick and then took this for a few days and symptoms were less, but other times it doesn’t make too much of a difference. If I’m wrong on this forgive me, but I believe studies show there is more efficacy with the flu virus and not so much with regular cold viruses. My kids love this syrup too and it’s a great price for what you get! Overall, love this product.
