I have been using this instead of pre-work powder. It is cheaper too. You don’t get the side affects either.

I have been using the powder version of the NOW BETA ALANINE for 6 years now. I mix 1.5 to 2.5 teaspoons of powder (depending on intensity of workout planned) in a glass of water with a splash of juice and drink 45-60 minutes before workout. This stuff really does give your body more strength + endurance for weights and cardio. You are just able to go further with BETA ALANINE Than Without. I recently bought the pill version to supplement on the days I’m not working out to aid in recovery. Do yourself a GIFT by READING what the Medical Research has stated about the Proven Benefits of BETA ALANINE. This NOW PRODUCT is made with (Carnosyn beta alanine). That is IMPORTANT! DO YOUR RESEARCH as I did 6 years ago when I was looking for a workout boost and found this product after trying others. If you get the powder version start with using a small amount 1/2 – 1 teaspoon to see how your body responds to it. I take 2 of the pill versions on my off days and it definitely is not as intense as my powder dose. You may get a hot flash or tingling 5-10 minutes after ingesting and this is normal and goes away shortly and gets much better when you have begun using BETA ALANINE on a regular basis.
