My skin gets so dry that I was using Shea butter from Mountain Rose Herbs on my face at night (too greasy in the daytime). My husband doesn’t like the way it smells but I don’t mind it at all. I got the processed kind because it smells less than the non-processed kind and everything from there is 100% organic. They were overwhelmed with orders and I needed to replace mine so I tried this kind and I’m glad I did. It has no real scent and feels smoother than the kind I’m used to. Happy that it’s fair trade and that there are no their ingredients in it.

Slight break out when used on face, but my hands love it.

I read somewhere that Allure called this the best all over moisturizer and IT IS!! It is similar to the consistency of coconut oil but not as greasy. It is wonderful on lips, dry skin, cracked heels, as a face moisturizer at night and on the ends of my hair for a little moisture and shine. I read that this is good to use as a heat protectant on hair though I haven’t tried that yet. This is my new favorite skin care product. Only one ingredient!🙌
***Update:
I still use this for minir cuts or chapped lips for my kids. I have switched to using raw the Shea Butter by Organic Apocothery of Portland. It is amazing and the moisure is intense! This stuff pales in comparison but is still useful since my kids don’t like the nutty smell of raw shea.

I love this for moisturizing. Our family has also used this for a skin problem. One of our family members had some kind of skin infection and it was not healing. This did an amazing job of healing the skin problem on the face. Not 100% but, I recall, made it 50-70% better. We then we used another medicine to finish. It was a great help!

As a woman who is turning 50 soon, this product seems to improve what I’m experiencing – the beginning stages of that sagging skin around the mid arms, shoulders and knees. I apply it nightly after my shower and I love it. Don’t be alarmed as It’s solid, not creamy, so let it soften in hand before rubbing it in target area.

I have tried quite a few other shea butter products and this is by far the best. It has very little fragrance, is organic, and wonderfully moisturizes my dry hands and feet. I also use it around my eyes at night since my eyes water often and the skin gets dry around my eyes. The butter is soft and easy to smooth onto skin.

While this is a good shea butter I prefer the argan butter . It is softer and works better for my skin.

This is the first time that I have purchased and used this product. I had no expectations when I bought this except for that fact that I wanted something organic and something that had less chemicals lurking in it. I us it mostly on my legs, because they are always so dry, and it works wonders!! It is thick but it is also very creamy and rubs in on the skin well. If you were wanting to use it as a hand cream, I would recommend using as little as possible and not touching anything when you are done. It can be greasy depending on how much you use but I have no problems with it on my legs. It does not have much of a smell at all. If I had to compare it to something, I would say it smelled just a little but like flour. Great product! I will purchase again in the future.

I’d try to take this to a deserted island if I got stranded. This stuff works wonders for so many skin and hair purposes. Very soothing for things like burns, rashes, bug bites, blisters. Moisturizes tired feet. Warmed between your hands it turns from a butter consistency to something like a massage oil. Helps with dry hair ends. Can use it on chapped lips. Shea butter can have a strong smell but this one is scentless, which I prefer. Big fan.
