I’ve been taking this for about a week and half. I don’t feel much different but it’s supposed to be beneficial for blood pressure and combat against cancer. I have had lots of skin cancer, and familial history of breast cancer so I try to be as preventative as possible. However, this supplement is recommended to be taken for 13 weeks then suspend use for a period of time. I also have high blood pressure despite very disciplined exercise routine and weight management so hopefully this will help manage blood pressure. I checked my BP twice this week and both times I was in normal range so that’s a good sign.
The tablets are large and yellow, but don’t really have a taste. I take a lot of health supplements so the size doesn’t bother me personally, but they are on the large side for someone who might be sensitive to that.
Overall these seem to be helpful for health benefits and I will use them in cycles 12 weeks on then 12 weeks off.

I take Quercetin regularly, and take some Nootropics Depot brand supplements, however I’ve never taken a Quercetin supplement from them prior to this one. The bottle’s label is full of information about the company, serving suggestion, made in USA, Lot number, Best By date, and so on. The tablets inside the bottle have the color I’d expect from Quercetin. The bottle contains 60 tablets, and each serving is 1 tablet which contains 500mg Quercetin.
These tablets are a bit on the larger side, however they’re still fairly easy for me to swallow. I’ve noticed nothing out of the ordinary, it’s so far, so good with these Quercetin tablets. No complaints, it’s like many other normal Quercetin supplements I’ve taken over the years.

Quercetin is a bioflavonoid that seems to have multiple benefits. It is a component of rutin (rutin consists of quercetin and another chemical), and they both have similar benefits.
Quercetin may have anti-aging properties, and also seems to be useful in helping allergy and sinus problems. It is often combined with bromelain for this purpose.
Quercetin doesn’t seem to be readily absorbed and utilized by the body, which limits its potential. This may be fixed by pairing it with black pepper extract or lecithin. Most quercetin formulas don’t have these ingredients added. I usually take it with both lecithin and black pepper extract.
Nootropics Depot is a great brand that does a lot of testing and quality control. They have great customer service. You pay a little more, but it’s worth it.

I said I would update this review when I could confidently say if this product has helped my recent bout with prostatitis and IT HAS. I started taking 1 of these twice a day after I got to my Dad’s house. Driving here was no picnic because of sitting for about 5 hours. I can honestly say that after the first day, I noticed less pain. And after a full week of taking 2 a day, the pain is gone. So I am a believer in this Quercetin product because I personally experienced benefits from it.

I’m surprised there is no mention on this page about the benefits of Quercetin for treating men’s prostatitis pain. Many, many studies have been done showing measurable benefits in reducing prostate swelling and pain. Reading more about these studies and their results is pretty easy now with the Internet, of course.
I have seen where some of the studies that used Quercetin to treat prostate swelling and pain included Bromelain in the Quercetin pill or capsule. The Bromelain helps with the absorption of Quercetin to get it from the digestive tract and into the bloodstream where it can be used. I’m still giving this one a try, even without the Bromelain, since nonbacterial prostatitis runs in our family. I do like that this is anhydrous Quercetin since it’s supposed to be a drier and more “pure” form of Quercetin.
Specifically, my PSA was 4.9 on my annual physical blood test from last month (my 94-year-old dad’s PSA has been as high as 8.5) and my Primary Physician referred me to a Urologist for further testing. He prescribed 2 weeks of Cipro to rule out bacterial infection and will retest. So I’m taking this Quercetin to try and get some relief because there is definitely swelling and pain, without getting too detailed.
I’m taking 1 of these 500mg tablets twice a day and will update this review when I can confidently say whether I have experienced any noticeable benefits from this Quercetin. If you suffer from prostatitis pain, you may want to talk to your physician about taking Quercetin too.

I’m glad to have found this product online. It’s hard to know if it’s helping or not; I’m just taking it to strengthen my immune system. My one complaint is that the pills are quite large (1/2 inch in diameter), and difficult for me to swallow whole. However, since the recommended dose for me is just 1/2 a pill, I’m cutting them in half, which makes them easier to swallow, too. If the company made these smaller and in a 250 mg size, it would be better.
