I’ve been looking for a good enzyme supplement for my husband. I especially like that these contain Betaine HCL. I think these may help but it’s too soon yet to know for sure. He’s had no problem swallowing them and no ill effects. So far he’s taking one a day, before dinner. The directions say that you can take up to 4 per day.

Okay, so I have been taking this for a full 30 days, at one tablet a day. I know you are supposed to take them with your meals, but supper has been the only time I remember to take them.
The ingredients all check out to be good for the issues listed.
Leaky gut is a thing- and with the ingredients included, things should improve.
I recommend trying them if you want to fortify your gut.
Pretty competitive price, too!

When it comes to the typical diet choices, particularly in the US, (sorry folks), who can’t use this kind of help in breaking down our fats, carbs & proteins. It’s good there’s supplements that assist with that!
However, because there’s no listing of ingredients on their Amazon page & my bottle has an extra label covering some of the ‘other ingredients’ I can’t do a complete open review of this one. Also, a heads up for vegans: this product has Pancreatic enzymes from domestic pig as well as ox bile.
I’m not a vegan myself but I respect each persons choices and believe in open disclosure by companies for those trying to make informed decisions for their lifestyles & health. The company’s name as well as the use of the word vegetable capsules clouds the issue. Perhaps if they choose to list the ingredients before someone buys it, it’ll minimize conflicts! That would be a plus. By the way, for those who like the ingredients listed in my pic I’ll share that the capsules are small & would be easy to swallow & there is no smell when you open the bottle or go to take a capsule. There you have it!!

These are great at improving digestion. It’s a good mix of ingredients that improve and settle digestion. I find when I remember to take these with my meal, that I have less problems. My stomach just feels better and lighter. I have had no bad side effects, no problems with the pills. They are easy to swallow. They are made in Canada.

Lately, I’d been dealing with some uncomfortable after-meal bloating and indigestion. It wasn’t fun! So I decided to try a digestive enzyme supplement, and I found this one from New Roots Herbal. I liked that it was a natural solution and had good reviews, so I gave it a shot.
The capsules are easy to swallow, and I take one with each meal. I haven’t noticed a huge difference overnight, but after a few weeks of consistent use, I can definitely say I feel better. The bloating and indigestion seem to be much less frequent, and overall, my digestion feels smoother.

I have used this product for a couple months and it has helped me alot with my digestive issues. I have crohns and a chronic cough from food not digested properly. ( Mucous causing my cough. ) other products do work partially but this product covers more of the enzymes I need. The price is good – cheaper than my health food store.

If you are seeking an enzyme supplement, New Roots Herbal’s Digestive Enzymes is formulated with protease, amylase, and lipase to help digest protein, carbohydrates, and fat, respectively. The bottle is safety sealed with expiration date stamped on the bottom = mine is almost 2-12 years out. . I like that this is made in North America and that the company has its own in-house lab for testing. The dosage can range from 1 up to 4 capsules a day depending on your needs as suggested by taking the smallest effective dose that helps and most days 1 is enough for my needs, if I eat a problematic food I may have another capsule with that meal. . I found the capsules are easy to swallow, have no taste or aftertaste, and did soothe digestive issues when taken before a meal. If you suffer any of the maladies listed that this helps you may want to give this brand a try as it addresses many common concerns.
