I’ve been taking the New Chapter Magnesium Complex Supplement for about a month now, and it’s become a solid part of my nightly routine. I pop one tablet about an hour before bed, and I’ve noticed I’m falling asleep easier and staying asleep longer. It’s been a real help in winding down after the day. I’ve tried magnesium citrate before, and let’s just say my stomach didn’t appreciate it. This one? No problems at all—gentle and easy on the digestion.
The mix of magnesium types in this supplement seems to make a difference. It combines magnesium glycinate, sea-sourced magnesium, and fermented magnesium, which are supposed to absorb well, and from what I can tell, they do the job. It’s not flashy, but it works. I’ve also noticed my muscles feel more relaxed in the evenings, which I imagine helps with the whole sleep thing.
I like that it’s vegan and uses clean, sustainable ingredients—it’s always nice to know what you’re putting in your body. The tablets aren’t huge, which is another win. They’re easy to swallow with a bit of water, and there’s no weird aftertaste.

This is a great magnesium supplement considering many people are deficient. It’s quite easy to swallow it down with a meal, I prefer taking it twice a day with each meal, taking one pill each time. I do wish there was a bit more, 60 pills only lasts about a month.

These magnesium tablets are decently sized. They do not have a bad taste or smell, and they work fairly well, or at least it seems so.

This supplement has been a very welcome addition to my regimen! I usually take it after dinner and feel that it has helped me get to sleep faster and stay asleep longer. I wake up the next day feeling refreshed and less groggy than I would if I took a sleeping pill. The pills are easy to swallow with water and theh are tasteless. I like this company and its track record of reputable products so I feel safe trusting it.

Mineral supplements are often very large. This one is a modest size and easy to swallow. The package says “manufactured in the USA from globally sourced ingredients”, “100% vegan”, “no artificial flavors or colors”. I would definitely buy this one again.

I’m a light sleeper and have recently started taking magnesium as I read it helps increase sleep quality. Although I’m a little skeptical when it comes to supplements, I appreciate that these have three different types of magnesium, which apparently increases absorption by 2.5 times.
From what I’ve read, it seems that not all supplements are equal in terms of their absorption and bioavailability, so I like that New Chapter take this seriously and have optimized their formulation to maximize uptake.
These magnesium tablets are on the large size for a supplement. They are solid tablets, and not the biodegradable capsule filled with a powder. I therefore find it pretty difficult to swallow an entire tablet in one, however they are really easy to break in two with your fingers, so I’ve been swallowing half at a time.
Finally I really appreciate that these are vegan as many supplements are not.

These are great, this is a trustable brand with good products. I always love a good magnesium, so vital for our entire body. This complex I can trust from an excellent brand.

These came in a sealed glass bottle, yay less plastic. They have no scent whatsoever, expiration date is almost 2 years out so plenty of time to use them.
I always look for the NSF symbol for supplements. This one is NSF gluten free. I’m not sure but I think that means they’re only certified for the gluten-free part and not for the content of the supplement but I still feel more confident than if they had nothing like that at all.
I think the only downside to these is that they are tablets rather than capsules and I believe the latter is absorbed a little bit better.
