As I have mentioned in other reviews, I take a wide variety of New Chapter products. New Chapter C Food Complex meets the same quality standards of the other items I have purchased from New Chapter. As with most vitamins, it can be hard to tell if you are receiving a benefit from taking them or not. I tend to notice more when I STOP taking a vitamin than I do when I’m actually taking it. As always, fast shipping, good price with Amazon.

I always referred to New Chapter products as one of the best available in the market until now. Much for my dismay I found out that Procter and Gamble bought it! Product is no longer good! As long as animal testing be conducted by this company I not only not buy any of their items, but also will do the worse propaganda I can! My family is out and lots of my friends. And that’s only the beginning! I used to buy and send it abroad! Never do that any more. It’s disgusting to know that I used these very expensive then good products under false advertisement. Proctor and Gamble should be displayed at the New Chapter bottles so people could make informed decisions. Shame on this company. Do you really need to use animals in 2015? Do you really need to deceive people to sell your products?
I’m glad that I’m not one of them any longer and with me at least 20 more, who soon will be 200 more!

I really like this product, it does not cause me any bad side effects. I usually drink a glass of orange juice for my breakfast, yes I know I should eat a breakfast, instead of drinking it but….. I take one of these with my evening meal. Recently I attended a family reunion, and everyone came down with a cold, but you guessed it not me! As a older person, getting ill has more serious consequences, so I try to stay as healthy as I can, I take a New chapter multi vitamin, along with their bone strength, iron, and the activated C. So far no colds, no sore throat, no nothing, so maybe this combination works for me. Hope you give this product a chance, I think you will like it as much as I do.

When I started using their B-Complex I noticed a great improvement in my stress and energy levels. I’m sure it probably has other benefits, but these are the two that mattered most to me because I work 6 10-hour days a week. There is something about the way these are formulated that allows them to be absorbed and utilized more than other brands. For this reason I decided to try their C-Complex.
I have been using it for a week or so, and I have noticed a huge improvement in my hay fever and interstitial cystitis. I knew Vitamin C could help for these issues, but I think these work better because they are food-based and your body can utilize them more readily. I think it has also helped my Candida issue, along with the odorless garlic and a proper diet. As long as New Chapter keeps making these superior products this will be my go-to brand.

One of the only providers of quality whole food Vitamin C! It’s important to know the difference between whole food vitamin C & synthetic vitamin C. Synthetic vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is not found in nature. It does not grow naturally in plants or trees and cannot be grown on a farm. It can only be made in a lab. Contrary to popular belief, ascorbic acid and vitamin C are not the same thing. Ascorbic acid is not a complete vitamin, but really only the outer layer of the complete complex known as vitamin C. The complete complex of vitamin C as found in natural food sources is composed of these elements: Rutinbiofavonoids (vitamin P) factor K, Factor Jfactor P Tyrosinase, Ascorbinogen ascorbic acid.
All of the above elements must be present in order for the body to absorb and benefit from the vitamin complex. Since synthetic ascorbic acid does not contain the full complex, your body must either gather the missing components from the body’s reservoir, or simply eliminate the ascorbic acid from the body through the urine without benefit to the body.
Another downfall with the synthetic ascorbic acid, is it kills the good bacteria in your gut. Most people don’t know that 80% of your immune system is in your gut, so a healthy gut is a major focal point for optimal health.
