    I bought this as a replacement for the Foaming Facial Cleanser that Neutrogena used to make which also removed makeup, but no longer make. It honestly works, and definitely takes off my waterproof eyeliner, but it takes 2 passes in order to do so. So one pump, lather the face, wash off, then another pump, lather face, and all traces of my eyeliner (even thick and winged) are now gone. It does it’s job, but I just have to wash my face twice in order for it to do so. I still miss the original, but this will work for now. It does not have any smell and it does get my face clean. Will continue to also use the Walmart version of Foaming Facial Cleanser.

    Easy to assemble but didn’t do it’s job in cleaning the face well. Too watery. No scent.

    I’m so pleased with this Neutrogena Reusable Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser Starter Kit. The kit comes in a cardboard box. Inside, there’s a metal bottle with a white squeeze plastic foaming pump and a clear removable bottle lid. In addition, there’s one sealed packet of the soap concentrate.

    The directions guide the user to fill the bottle with warm water to a line that’s about 7/8 of the way full. I used scissors to cut open the concentrate and poured it gently into the bottle. I replaced the white foaming pump. Then, I shook it for about a half minute. I let it set for a few minutes, then pressed the foam pump. I squeezed out white foam, which I then used to wash my face.

    The soap rinsed off easily with warm water. The soap cleaned my face well and I really loved that it didn’t overdry it. (The soap is free of phthalates, parabens, alcohol, mineral oil and soap .) I also liked that it was really airy and lightweight. It seems as though a little will go a long way.

    I am used to the Ultra Gentle foaming cleanser that comes premade and was excited to try this sustainable option. I think it is definitely gentle as I have very sensitive skin, but I feel like it’s too gentle and doesn’t really clean my skin thoroughly. It kinda feels like cleaning your face is with water. I feel like I need to wash my face twice to feel clean

    I really like that’s it’s sustainable and was easy to make though!

    I mixed it with distilled water and am happy with the results! I could not fine the packets in the store and do not know where to purchase them for refills!
