I don’t really suffer from acne much these days. However, as a physician, I do know that it is best to choose products that are less likely to produce them. This sunscreen is light and easy to put on. It is not like an ointment. It is much like a light lotion. It spreads easily. It starts out white but lightens when spread and within minutes, seems to disappear. There is not scent to annoy you. The SPF50 is enough. It is not really necessary to go higher because the relative increase in time to burn becomes less and less as you go higher. It is actually more important to repay the sunscreen if you plan on spending a long time in the sun.

This sunscreen is great for the face. I use it daily and have had no issues with breakouts. It goes on a little thick but absorbs into the skin nicely.

I have acne-prone skin, unfortunately. Neutrogena’s SPF 50 Clear Face doesn’t break me out. Works well and lasts a reasonable amount of time before having to reapply. As a medium-skinned African American, however, the cream is too white. I counter the effect with some tan loose power. It’s a problem many manufacturers don’t care to address.

I love this sunscreen so much that I wanted to order two and I found this to better deal. However, I received only one bottle. The only solution offered was to return, which is very time consuming.
