Die Creme zieht schnell und vollständig ein, ohne einen fettigen Film zu hinterlassen. Sie sorgt für glatte, reine Haut mit ebenmäßigen Poren. Schon nach der ersten Anwendung konnte ich feststellen, dass die Haut aufgepolstert wird und gut gepflegt aussieht – das setzt sich im Laufe der Zeit so fort. Mir gefällt außerdem, dass sie quasi geruchlos ist. Trotz des hohen Preises finde ich diesen akzeptabel, weil die Haut im Gesicht deutlich besser damit aussieht. Etwas seltsam finde ich allerdings den Pumpspender. Anders als üblich verfügt er nicht über einen „Rüssel“ (siehe Video). Das ist nicht per se schlecht, aber wirklich gewöhnungsbedürftig. Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden.

NEUTRIHERBS brand is new to me and I was willing to give it a shot because I have such a soft spot for good collagen creams. In fact, I take collagen supplements, including powder form in my smoothies on a daily basis. Collagen is like the basic building block of healthy skin and necessary for healthy joints, skin elasticity, and suppleness. It gives us a youthful appearance and begins to break down with age, making it harder to replace. For women and beauty, it’s all about collagen, hyaluronic acid, and retinol. Well, this collagen cream contains all three, along with skin supersavers (Vitamin E and Peptides). Collectively, the cream should help with elasticity, cell renewal, hydration and firming. Does it, or can it?
I love the push-top dispenser and silkiness of the gel cream. It glides so smoothly on my skin without any irritation, heaviness, or oiliness … but I’m going to burst the ingredient bubble a bit. Ingredient order always matters, and the good ingredients are below the Top 5 main ingredients.
The top 5 are water and softeners:

#2 A moisturizing conditioning agent
#3 Glycerin (an emollient to soften skin)
#4 An emollient to soften skin
#5 A synthetic replacement for silicone and mineral oil
In other words, the Top 5 are rather ordinary ingredients generically found in countless skincare products, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen that exact order no matter what claims the product makes or how great the supposed ingredients are.

Not exactly impressive, but there are alot of technically good ingredients not in the Top 5 that are still only in extract form, so it’s more hype than anything. AGAIN the order of ingredients MATTERS and indicates the degree of concentration. If this collagen cream was serious skincare, those 4 ingredients would be in the Top 5 with all the other great ones (not extracts!) in the top half, but they aren’t. So basically, this is a nice feeling cream that moisturizes and hydrates, but not much else, despite the claims. There’s only negligible concentration of the ingredients I really want. At $20 and this ingredient list, the cream is overpriced and misleading. I could have made this informed decision prior to the ordering process if companies were transparent about their ingredient lists on the buy pages. This is why they don’t list them — customers would be more reluctant to buy products that can’t live up to the hype.

As another reviewer has mentioned, the ingredient list shows most of the ingredients are listed in strength. The first few are what you usually find in your standard drug store moisturizer. I love how the first ingredient listed is AQUA. You mean, water? the first ingredient is water. it doesn’t make it a more exotic ingredient to list it as aqua. They do not put this list on the Amazon product site. Yes, it does soften my skin. But I can get that from Nivea or even Suave without the expense. It’s the collagen, vitamin E and retinol that I’m after. This does not really deliver it in the amounts it should for the price.
