I’m always willing to try a new supplement that aims at digestive health. The fact that this one is made in the USA added to its appeal, although I am also happy with Indian Ayurvedic products. I added a daily capsule of Digest DTX to my normal diet for a week. It only took three or four days to realize that it was doing what it claimed to do, reduce gas. Now that I see that it works I can reduce my intake from one capsule a day to one every other day to see what is the minimum amount of the product that will still continue to work. How your body reacts to this supplement could, of course, be different from mine, so it’s really impossible to give a definite recommendation. However, it’s good to know it’s made from safe ingredients by a reputable company and it works well for me.

I grew up allergic (not intolerant…allergic!) to dairy. For my childhood, young adult, and mature adult life I could never have dairy or I’m headed to the emergency with an asthma attack and/or if not treated I’d get an upper respiratory infection that has more than once turned into pneumonia. So when I discovered enzymes back in 2015 and found I could enjoy a slice a pizza or a scoop of ice cream or cheese on my super burrito, then life changed for me. It was a lack of digestive enzymes all those years?!? So I proceeded to look at a couple of brands of enzymes and had to compare with this one…
The biggest challenge I have with ALL these different brands is the different forms of dosage measurements each one uses (What is a PU versus a HUT?). Sigh! No standards requirements for supplements I guess.

Why not rate this one higher to match the higher asking price over the competitors? Probably because for my allergy to dairy the less expensive competitor brands work just as well at a SIGNIFICANT less cost. I don’t know enough about this product to know why it would cost so much more.
OVERALL:
For a test, I took a pill, had a hefty scoop of ice cream, and did NOT get sick/allergic reaction.
Thus even at the dose for the needed enzyme, it worked!!
Compared with other brands cost and dosage of each enzyme type are a consideration (as reflected by my rating).
This also requires more internet research to understand some of these enzymes and what they may or may not be helping with.
But I’m not sick…so I’m overall satisfied.

Personally, I have had good experience with Zinc but am not a fan of how it tastes. It should be noted that this contains Zinc Carnosine which contains equal portions of both Zinc and l-carnosine. This product is an easy to consume gel capsule that has no odor or taste which is great. The benefits of Zinc are well known and have been studied so there is a lot on information on it. For me this is a win because I use Zinc for immune support and the gel capsule works great for me. Also, the price point is very reasonable for the quantity of 60 capsules.

Bought this because I thought it would help with some ongoing GI issues. My doctor said taking enzymes to help breakdown food can improve my digestion. Confirmed these enzymes are not from animals, which was important to me. Have been taking 1 capsule with big meals. it is really quite amazing. No bloating after meals. No feeling stuffed and sleepy either. I just feel good after I eat. Also usually got heartburn after most meals, but when I take this it seems to reduce my reflux! Was worried that the capsules would smell with the apple cider vinegar. However, the capsules are green and smell like fresh green tea. The price is fair as you only need 1 capsule with a meal, usually I have 1-2 big meals a day, so my first bottle lasted 2 months! Plus it has turmeric too. Highly recommend!

I received this product as a sample from a store I purchase supplements from. My stomach did feel better, with way less air (gas) pressure after eating. The only thing is the price is a little steep for the bottle saying you can take up to 10 pills a day (90 pills in the bottle). So far so good though.

This product is helpful to take to keep my digestion in order and to calm flare-ups of inflammation. The pills are small and easy to take, and the results are expedient.

I think I am liking this blend of digestive enzymes. I’ve been using it for a week now, 1 with each meal, and I believe I feel less bloated after the meal. There are many many different formula blends of digestive enzymes. Unless you frequently get labs done to check your digestive enzymes it is hard to find something that works for you! Then when you finally do, sometimes it will work fine and other times not. Other times another blend will work better. Our bodies are constantly changing especially our digestive system. It gets real frustrating. I found this blend interestingly unique. with the vinegar and cilantro and Zinc carnosine. They state that” this digestive enzyme blend to help digest food ‘antigens’ that can trigger the immune response. * Kind of like ” heading them off at the pass” before the “antigens’ can do any damage! I’m going to finish this bottle and hopefully get a better picure of what this can do for me. So far it’s been good without any side effects.
