I was happy to find something with azelaic acid and niacinamide. I have not used it long enough to share efficacy, and will update, but wanted to make mention….it’s stinky. It’s just unpleasant and weird smelling. Like baby wipes. So just a heads up.

This brand is amazing -I’ve heard wonderful things online and from dermatologists. This has niacinamide and vitamin C in it. Obviously I bought it because it’s azelaic acid which does wonders for texture and it’s anti-acne. My skin has never looked better. It layers beautifully with other serums moisturizers and also works well under make up. GET IT!

I’ve been using this product consistently at night since I originally purchased it in August of this year. I haven’t seen a noticeable difference in my skin tone (as far as evenness) or rosacea (redness). I appreciate products formulated without fragrance. However, this product smells like stinky feet or dirty socks.
While I have not experienced an allergic reaction to this product, I will say that applying this to the skin after cleansing and toning I’ve experienced a slight burning or stinging feeling – which I can attribute to the presence of vitamin C since I’ve had similar reactions to other products containing it.
I’ve made the mistake of not applying sunscreen the following morning after using this product, and even with the brief amount of sun exposure (approximately fifteen minutes) my skin was definitely burned. So, if you glean anything from my review whether or not we’ve shared similar experiences, I highly recommend you wear sunscreen as directed by the products warning.

When I got pregnant, one of the first things I had to do was stop taking trentinoin immediately. The only downside was that this made my skin so smooth and glossy, so I did research on alternatives and stumbled upon this. It does the same trick pretty much as the tretinoin and has made my skin feel less dull as the pregnancy hormones kicked in. Highly recommend! Comes out a bit watery, but not hard to apply on your skin. I follow up with a moisturizer and have not noticed any dryness.

I am pregnant and really feel like this product has been keeping my skin congestion at bay. This is a newer product in my routine. I was a consistent tretinoin user prior to pregnancy and I have had trouble finding an affordable alternative to help keep my skin clear. This is my first experience using a product with azelaic acid and I am pleasantly surprised.
I will say that I do feel like this dries my skin out ever so slightly. And that is after following it with vanicream which is a very rich moisturizer. I notice that I wake up with my skin feeling parched and that is usually not the case when I follow my serums with vanicream. It’s not significant enough to make me stop using by any means. I just started adding in a few drops of oil to boost hydration and this has helped.
This is good stuff. If you feel like your skin has tried it all and you’re in a rut, give this a shot! Other reviews have complained about this being sticky but, if you’re no stranger to having a multistep skincare routine, I don’t think it will bother you. The benefits are worth it!
