Works wonderful great quality definitely buy the capsules are vegan and the root is powder on the inside they are easy to swallow very easy to use and the taste is quite pleasant in my opinion

I have had this product for a few weeks and I have hesitated to do a review because I have always believed that wholistic remedies take more time to work than OTC remedies. After a few weeks I can truly say this product works as far as relieving water from the body. After taking BP medicine for decades, I believe it started to impact my kidneys and prevented me from expelling water from my body.. I would get a gurgling sensation in my lungs and eventually I would be starved of air. I realized that a doctor-prescribed diuretic remedied this but I became convinced that a natural diuretic would do just as well. I started out slowly weaning off the meds and replacing them with this product. The first time I took product as a supplement to my meds I noticed that my symptoms went away; I thought it was a fluke…….maybe it was all in my head. Today I woke up with obvious very slight water build up in my chest and told myself if the symptoms go away again after taking this product, I will write this review. Well the symptoms went away yet again which proves this product actually works. Hopefully this will help someone out there who is searching for a solution…….stay encouraged. You have to be extremely strategic when coming off prescribed meds, listen to your body and don’t do anything cold turkey…….be smart.

Had to edit my comment from 3 start to 4 start. From comments on other websites and this website, I was expecting it to work within two weeks. It did not work at two weeks and I made the comment about it not doing much. After 3 weeks it did start to work. It still is not as good as a prescription diuretic. However I stopped the prescription because of the side effect, which this product, at least for me, has no side effects. I now have to go to the bathroom at night and notice a slight difference in how often I go to the bathroom. It did help with the swelling in the fingers, which is what I wanted as I couldn’t wear my wedding ring. As far as water weight, I have not notice a difference. Usually I lose about 4-5 lbs in water weight when I start back on the diuretic. Sometimes I forget to take it for a few days and I gain it back but it is always constantly 4-5lbs within a day of taking the prescription diuretic. Haven’t notice a change in weight with this, which as long as I can wear the rings, it is doing what I wanted so I am happy. Just have to give it time to work, took 3 weeks but at least I did not waste money buying it.

This product lives up to all its reviews, & I’m happy to say it does perform well in its classification of being a natural diuretic. I had been holding onto water likely my from diet, or possibly stress/hormones- & I just needed a little help with this recent influx of odd recurring 2-5lb. scale jump sometimes overnight (which I’ve never seen before, & I’m not doing anything drastically different to cause such a thing). Dosing says take capsules daily however I’m not clear on whether you take them through the course of the day, or all at once so I began with spreading them out from morning, noon, & before bed. As a diuretic I’m sure most know you’ll be having more frequent bathroom trips so of course expect that result, & be prepared going in; so far, there have been no negative effects that I’m noticing around my third day in & these helped with me not feeling bogged down the day after my five year anniversary dinner (my face was also not puffy the next day either)! I do recommend these & have to say that they do indeed work with no other side effects than a few more trips to the loo. Stay hydrated, friends!

i’ve taken dandelion root for years. These capsules have never done me any harm. These dandelion root capsules help whenever i’m constipated. i’ve learned to take them as soon as i know that i’m constipated. Usually i don’t have any problems having a bowel movement, but on some occasions when i do, these capsules come in handy. i love to take herbs and it is so good to have these handy. After taking Tylenol or some calming medicine i realize it is better for me every time to take some of these dandelion capsules afterwards, because i usually get constipated so i take it for precaution. That is so much better than hurting later. My husband took them after his hernia surgery and he was able to eliminate his bowels easily after taking them. Some people take prescription medicine and may not be able to take these. i really don’t know, but the lady at my health food store said to me once that it is OK to take herbs when you take prescription medication just take it an hour apart. i always remembered that. it still may not be good to take these dandelion capsules or other herbal medicine while taking certain prescription or even over the counter medicines. i really do not know. it is always good to research it first or ask your doctor to be sure.
i was reading in Jethro Kloss’ book Back to Eden that “The root is used to increase the flow of urine in liver problems. it is slightly laxative. it is a splendid remedy for jaundice and skin diseases, scurvy, scrofula, and eczema. Useful in all kinds of kidney troubles, diabetes, dropsy, inflammation of the bowels and fever. Has a beneficial effect on the female organs. increases the activity of the liver, pancreas, and spleen, especially in enlargement of the liver and spleen. Promotes bile formation….”
