I regularly recommend this to my patients to increase iron during pregnancy and now get them for my daughter too.
This particular one comes with folate instead of folic acid which is imprint at for many (look up MTHFR to learn why)

I needed to increase my iron and choose a different supplement than the one I was on, and my doctor recommended this. She said she doesn’t normally recommend things on Amazon but she has patients that have done well on this particular one. It does not appear to cause any stomach upset for me which is good, and I’m taking one every other day at my doctor’s recommendation and my iron levels are starting to come up. My one complaint about the product is that the listings on Amazon make it difficult sometimes to determine which one you’re actually purchasing. There is a slow releasing tablet, which is the one my doctor wants me on, a sustained release tablet that I’m uncertain if that’s the same as the slow releasing tablet or not, and a fast acting tablet. Some of the listings seem to show one in the picture and then describe it differently, or offer different options and it’s a little bit confusing. I wish it was a little bit clearer which is why I’ve dropped a star on the review. I was trying to buy a larger package and almost bought the wrong formula.

My iron was low in my pregnancy and my midwife recommended these. Specifically the slow release tablets. They didn’t make me sick or anything!

My iron was rock bottom. Normally the GP recommends Ferrous fumerate/sulphate which really messes up my stomach.
These were fine – I took two of these each night alongside 2000mg of Vit C. Whilst my stools were a little darker, I had no constipation. My hair fall has lessened and I am less breathless now too. I will give these another month before I get bloods done again but they seem to be working well.

Had a very low iron count. Doc said to get “name here” but I had already gone to a holistic vitamin store that recommended this brand. This brand had a higher iron and C count and was less expensive. Iron count is up so all is well.

I am used to buying in store or online this item that comes in a box with the caplets individually enclosed. When I saw the bag I freaked out a bit because I thought the order was wrong…that I had been sent the powdered “capsule” product. I actually alternate between the two. However, it looks like this is the same formula as the box version although the last two ingredients are supposed to be on the back of the label. For now, it’s OK…will see how they hold up once opened. Thinking I may need to refrigerate.
