Most ppl don’t realize that GTF CHROMIUM regulates blood sugar levels- both high & low(my case). It HAS to be GTF- GLUCOSE TOLERANCE FACTOR- or it doesn’t work near as well. All the drug stores I checked DO NOT CARRY THIS GTF FORM- only regular Chromium. I ordered 2 bottles so I don’t run out. It’s working as it’s supposed to. I’m pleased.

I started taking this product June 25 and its been 8 months since I’ve had chocolate and my sweet tooth has dwindled to almost nil. Now… I used to eat cake, ice cream and whipped cream every single night and now even when I think of eating something sweet I don’t want it. I’ve gone through Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas without chocolate. I’m amazed. My A1C fell 2 points. I’m thrilled. Love this product!!!! 😀😀😀

Nature’s Way GTF Chromium (polynicotinate) goes to work immediately; it contains niacin, which aids in absorption, and the niacin and chromium work together to regulate blood sugar. Furthermore, this supplement doesn’t cause the ‘flushing’ that straight niacin would normally produce. I’ve taken straight niacin before, and have always experienced facial flushing; not that it’s a big deal, but it’s nice to not have that when you’re out and about. Finally, because this supplement balances blood sugar (glucose) levels, I’ve experienced less cravings for sugar, (and even alcohol), which makes sense, because those who may drink a little more are really satisfying the body’s need for more sugar. Give this product a try if you want a boost in energy, better glucose metabolism, or want to shed a few pounds. Tip: exercise regularly and take this supplement for great results.

wow for anyone who is trying to lower blood sugar. works and works well. But, it’s not a magic pill for people trying to lower blood sugar. The great thing about this product is it is not chromium picolinate (which according to medical studies, is dangerous long term), this polynicotinate (per online) has no longer term effects. I took this for about 2 months, while I dieted and exercised and it helped me dropped my blood sugar levels in about two weeks. I would stop taking it and blood sugar would go back up. So I would take it again and it caused the drop in blood sugar again and combined with my diet and exercise it helped stablize my blood sugar. Now, that I am controlling my weight and am daily exercising, my sugar level is staying about 100 most of the time (unless I eat incorrectly for my condition). I can only give this product four stars instead of the five, because people must be careful taking chromium for diabetes if they are taking prescription diabetes meds. This stuff does lower sugar levels, one problem I was having was my sugar levels were beginning to drop too much when I took it, because I was combining the diet and exercise which were also having a positive effect on lowering my blood sugar. I stopped taking it about a month ago and like I said, my sugar with diet and exercise is staying around 100, usually within the 90-100 range. The 4 stars is for a be careful warning, to watch your sugar levels closely. Too low sugar levels is just as bad as too high. Diet and exercise can not be beat for type 2 or pre type 2 like me! I would highly recommend anyone who wants to low blood sugar numbers, to use this product…..it works! It helped me get my sugar level down for the few months I needed it, until my diet and exercise could take over!

We have used GTF chromium for 4 years now with our diabetic dog. I had read about the positive effects on blood sugar when we got her diagnosis so I started her on it immediately. Although not scientific proof, I can attest to the fact that our vet is constantly amazed that our 14 year old dog has been living with diabetes for 4 years and that her blood sugar has stayed stable with no need of insulin modification for nearly two years.
I think there are benefits to this product………..again, my opinion
